Digital events have helped us a lot over the past two years. For whoever wanted to listen to good content and stay connected to their industry, digital events were key in doing so, he says.
Digital events do not have the same feedback/results as in-person, for me. I like to see how my audience reacts to what I say/present, that I don’t get back in digital/online events, he says.
The pandemic has been a blessing for my business. I transitioned into offering Virtual fitness Classes: Bootcamp, kickboxing, yoga, dance fitness, guided meditation, and high intense interval training. And have been able to serve more clients globally.
The biggest thing Covid taught me is that we are all intricately connected and dependent on each other. There is no use denying it, and there is no value in creating systems that only benefit a select few, she says.
My biggest objective is to have a relevant topic that I can communicate in an interesting way to the audience. I am very passionate about what I do and every time I speak in an event, I want to highlight the importance of dedication, higher purpose and make sure that my topic is relevant for the audience, she says.
The market is more competitive because now everyone has moved onto Amazon. This means that brands need to compete and perform at a high level. I see Amazon becoming a staple for every business.
When given an opportunity of a lifetime, you have a chance to impact lives. We get to do that through our software, our team members, the companies we serve, the investors that support us, and the overall HR market. There aren’t many circumstances that allow you to serve all of those and have an impact, he says.
My passion is centered on leveraging technology, research, and data to build usable, relevant, and scalable HR solutions for business. I like data to inform my decisions and when not available, I believe in going with my gut, while having the nimbleness and receptiveness to learn and change course, she says.
I think the push to keep working remotely will also help push the drive for a greater awareness of DEI and equality as we experience yet another shift in globalisation of a different kind, as workers experience the benefits (and challenges) of it from the comforts of their own home.
