Huw advises investors and financial institutions in analyzing financial, market, and sustainability trends, to to assess the direction of financial markets and help guide investment and strategic decisions. He currently serves as Vice Chair at Oliver Wyman, member of the Investment Committee at the Oxford Endowment, member of the Climate Advisory Council, NBIM, the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund. He ass co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Responsive Financial System 2020-23. He was previously Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive and Chair Sustainable Finance Cttee. Huw was previously Senior Adviser to Governor Mark Carney and led the van Steenis Report on the Future of Finance for the Bank of England. His report prompted the world's first climate stress tests of financial institutions by a central bank as well as major upgrades to new payment system access. Previously he was a Global Head of Banks and Diversified Financials research at Morgan Stanley
