"Great learnings & good location"

Good content on the event, I learned a lot. the variety of speakers and moderators helped make this an event where I could take away a lot and grow my knowledge of different parts of the food & beverage industry.

Two long days, with a lot of short bits of content shared by various speakers.
What did you like best about the event?
KFC speaker was the best and most informative; the panel led by Social Native was also great.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Please allow for breaks between sessions, and also do not start the event so early. I would say that most of the fireside chats, keynote speakers/long intros, and the networking/workshop were unnecessary and not informative (unless they were restructured). Once removed these sessions, you can make the event not have such an early start and feel so much like a marathon.

Not Worth The Cost
What did you like best about the event?
The hotel was amazing and the content was relevant. The food was good and the location of the hotel was good.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The app was horrible, it was supposed to send an email when you sent a message through the app to the attendee and the attendees never got the emails. Frankly, it was worthless! Why have an event in the middle of the Summer heat!

I thought it was generally a good conference. I liked the size
What did you like best about the event?
The size of the event and there were decent contacts there. The location was great being in Austin

It was insightful and productive; I enjoyed many of the panels and listening to the panelists.
What did you like best about the event?
The caliber of the panelists were great, and the lunch both days was pretty tasty.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The breakfast wasn't amazing. More breakfast taco options and overall a more robust spread spread (yogurt parfaits, smoothies). More qty and selection of snack food for the breaks (bagged popcorn, chips, nuts), with sparkling water (canned or bottled) instead of just soda. I would have liked standing desks in the back because sitting all day is the pits.

The KFC preso was memorable, the Del Monte one was actionable, interesting soundbites from Jon Halverson, in general, the social panel was really good. Also enjoyed hearing from people with the org that owns Halo Top.

Great breakout session insights and fun connecting with old friends!
What did you like best about the event?
I liked the smaller audience/attendee group with high-level decision makers providing access to these contacts in a more intimate setting
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The sessions rooms were too small for the number of people there with many standing. Also, the setup of the vendor room was very small and didn't allow for the flow of contacts to roam through. Many stood out in the lobby/outside/or restaurant area to avoid coming in.

What did you like best about the event?

The vendor-led keynotes were not as applicable to the event at times. This is necessary to give sponsors a voice and help pay, but the presentations could have been more detailed.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The app was a little clunky, and it wasn't easy to connect with people. it would have been good to have a working QR code or something on people's badges that helped to connect. also, the coffee being taken away at 9 am was annoying, keep coffee until later in the day.
