Very good and intimate.
How small it was. Easy to talk to people and make connections. I liked how it was a hotel so I could go up and down if I had calls to take.
The booths were kind of awkward looking. It was also slightly awkward having to pitch your product right next to the competition’s booth. I wish competitors would have been taken into consideration when assigning booths.

eTail Connect Conference - Roundtables For The Win!
As I mentioned in my brief overall review, I took the most away from the Roundtables. Discussing real-time issues, and situations and having feedback from my peers is incredibly insightful. The quality of attendees makes a difference as well.
I would love to have more time at the roundtables to continue the conversation. I also enjoyed the 1:1 meetings, however, a dedicated time where I'm not necessarily choosing between meetings or content would be nice. I believe there were a few times this was offered so I wasn't conflicted about attendance.
My favorite session was the Vuori session. Learning the longtail effect of their content and how they're implementing and testing new channels.

I thought the event overall was very high quality.
I think for obvious reasons, the 1:1 meetings with desired brands. Hard to beat the location either.
While the meetings were great, we did have a few missed. We understood we were getting 12 30-minute meetings and had at least 3 no shows. I understand that there are scheduling errors or attendees not coming and introductions are being made but a big part of the investment was based on the number of meetings that were expected.

eTail Connect was a great show. The small, intimate environment allows for more in-depth conversations with vendors as well as deeper dives into key topics.
Having the time to have more than one conversation over 2 day period with the same vendor. Enables us to expedite the exploratory process and go to market timeline.
I believe the round tables have a lot of potentials to be the show's most important part. Would be helpful if the moderator was a leader in the space that could provide tactical, actionable advice.

Good event
Networking was good A few good presentations and nuggets to consider for the next steps in my responsibilities.
The hotel was overbooked and had to go elsewhere The ice breaker wasn't too helpful when we circled back as a group
The Bluestem speaker was good - provided real examples behind the scenes of how he workshopped out the current and future Martech stack

eTail connected me with some of the best service providers in the business but also with like minded individuals that helped me brainstorm the numerous challenges we are facing today.
The roundtables were the best part of the event. Gathering different industries to address similar problems we are all facing was the most valuable part of the event.
Not had the breakouts at the same time as presentations. Some presentations, I had to miss because I had scheduled vendor meetings.
Diversity and Inclusion was good - Michael from Vevano Home and Testing Advertising - two speakers from Vuori

Good Experience!
The format was unique and enjoyable as a vendor. Having scheduled out meetings with brands instead of the typical convention hall style.
I wish we had more say in terms of the brands we spoke with. Some weren't a great fit for us.

First time at eTails West and absolutely loved it!
Great experience scheduling meetings with priority ratings before the event, the staff were very attentive to make sure attendees made it to their respective meetings.
The only downside was the hotel was full and we had to stay at the backup location down the road, it would have been nice to stay on site.

I love the smaller format conference so you can have real conversations with peers and vendors.
Roundtables where you can hear about what others are doing and their struggles and successes.
Can't think of anything. Maybe a nicer hotel. The meeting spaces were nice, but the rooms were average.

Lots of great interaction
I liked the networking and individual meetings with vendors the best. I thought the content was a little hit-and-miss.
The roundtables were among my favorite parts. However, I signed up for a specific roundtable to discuss that topic. I don't understand why each of the roundtables had to stop for the last 10-15 minutes to hear the content from other groups. If I wanted to hear that content I would have joined that group. I found it nonsensical.
