About Future of Biogas Summit 2023

Following seven successful editions ACI is delighted to announce the 8th Future of Biogas Europe 2023 Summit, taking place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on the 22nd & 23rd November 2023.

The policies and targets implemented in order to reach net-zero emissions by 2050 have left the demand for Biogas and alternative fuels at an all time high. The demand on the industry to grow and develop against the timeframe highlights the challenges that will be faced.

The conference sessions will cover the policies and regulations currently in place, the movements in the transportation sector including the marine sector, geographical considerations, future opportunities within biogas, the road to independence from Russian gas and much more.

The two-day event will bring together senior executives and experts from the full value chain and provide a forum for all parties active in the field of anaerobic digestion of organic matter and renewable energy production in the form of biogas.

I had an amazing moment. I like that the speakers were specific with their topic and tackled the real issues.
What did you like best about the event?
I love the fact that a webinar like this was set up. It is very important to know what the future holds for biogas and how we can get equipped to make it a household name.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I hope the publicity can be elaborate enough to bring in more students, especially those whose research pertains to biogas and related topics. Innovative ideas can also be sponsored through this.

Every speaker spoke excellently well. It was hard to choose a favorite speaker.

Very focused on biomethane, the European political framework, and the business environment.

I liked it a lot. I was most interested in the trends where the whole biogas is heading.

Interesting, provoking speakers, meetings with new players in the field, and the venue.
