PDAC 2024: The World’s Premier Mineral Exploration & Mining Convention is the leading event for people, companies and organizations connected to mineral exploration.

The annual award winning PDAC Convention in Toronto, Canada brings together up to 30,000 attendees from over 130+ countries for its educational programming, networking events, business opportunities and fun.

Since it began in 1932, the convention has grown in size, stature and influence. Today, it is the event of choice for the world’s mineral industry hosting more than 1,100 exhibitors and 700 speakers.

Oh, the, the event was very nice but you can meet a lot of people with same, same jobs and you could, connect lots of people. But one bad thing is everything is happening simultaneously. So you lost some opportunity while getting some.

I attended PDAC for the 1st time to walk the Exhibit floors.
What did you like best about the event?
I found the event to be very well organized and attended and saw several of my colleagues there.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Provide one-day show floor attendees with more opportunities to attend things like coffee connections.

Excellent, well organized.

Great networking was held all day and in the evenings at the various receptions. People were friendly and approachable.

Incredible! It was my first time attending, and the energy of the crowds, the perfect setup, and the social events all made for a wonderful networking and learning experience!
What did you like best about the event?
The energy of the crowd, the food at the various social events, the organization of the event, and the tremendous assistance offered by the Teck support team in yellow T-shirts all made attending the event for a first-timer very efficient!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
A few more snack/coffee places would be great, with a huge variety of food that caters to different tastes and ethnicities.

The event was organized smoothly and was as bustling as always.
What did you like best about the event?
This year, there were seemingly more exhibitions than previous years, offering further global outreach and innovation in the domain.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Communication about occurring events was not clear throughout the event. In addition to the online schedules, a centralized display of event timing would be best to share information with the masses.

One of the largest conferences I've attended. Very well organized and interesting sessions.
What did you like best about the event?
Organization, speakers, networking opportunities, venue and the size of the conference.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I had a hard time finding one of the booths I was interested in visiting. Perhaps a better map or layout.

It has been an exciting few days. It is great to see the new projects coming and feel the buzz in the industry, even though the metal prices are not doing well.
What did you like best about the event?
Easy access to booths and vendors, excellent presentation rooms for technical sessions and keynotes.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The food options were subpar, and there were very lengthy waits. Better screening of technical presenters content to remove "sales pitches".

It was a great event, but everything was simultaneous.
What did you like best about the event?
I liked the variety of topics covered. During the convention, you could meet new people who are working on a similar topic to you.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Everything is simultaneous. When you are somewhere, you miss another event. Maybe there can be an extra day to resolve this.
