About NBJ Summit 2023

In 2023, we are continuing to offer both in-person and virtual attendance options for NBJ Summit. The in-person event will be invite-only and limited to nutrition industry CEOs and executives and will take place July 25-27 at the Terranea Resort & Spa in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. The virtual component of the Summit will take place on the same days and can be accessed digitally by registered attendees from any location.

NBJ is the perfect blend of immersion and connection. It's a great place to connect with colleagues, get intro to new colleagues in kind of unstructured ways. And then of course, attend, you know, all the different speakers and learn just the newest trends and, and exciting insights about our industry. So, I do love NBJ and I always look forward to it next year. And obviously, the Rena Resort was a, was a beautiful environment for this. So, thank you.

I thought it was an exceptional networking experience!
What did you like best about the event?
The venue and dates were perfect for this event. The dinners and social events were top-notch for a group of this size. The NBJ team did a fantastic job of making sure all events were done in an almost flawless manner.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
First polling question indicated that 47% of attendees had never taken or would take fungi ingredients. You had a fantastic theme related to Unchartered Waters. Still, I felt the fungi topic was force-fed when you had so many other areas that would have been more interesting to attendees who are all going through the same transitional period in the nutritional market.

It is a wonderful setting for both immersion and connection within our industry.
What did you like best about the event?
Both the structured and unstructured settings for connections and networking. Lovely setting as well.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Unsure. Perhaps late-night events? Early morning events? Group Runs? There are certainly some more options there.

The NBJ Summit is the premiere event for C-level executives in our industry.
What did you like best about the event?
The networking opportunities were valuable and the educational sessions on the agenda were extremely informative.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The keynote speakers on the whole were not as good as in prior years, and most of the A/V problems should have been worked out before the speakers took the stage.

Virtual attendee. Some talks were relevant, some not.
What did you like best about the event?
The quality of content is impeccable. However, not all are relevant to my job. Networking opportunities virtually.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Allow more people to attend in person would be my suggestion. Not sure how you do that and still keep it intimate.
