A I was a very enjoyable conference which I spoke at uh very kind of mccannon, the ASIC team to have invited me to represent ESG and sustainability as a subject. Very much worth the time. an incredible array of investors project proponents and various other professionals in the industry. all focused on, on Africa and a lot of buy in on ESG and sustainability highly recommended.

As usual, a well-attended event with many relevant topics covered. Perhaps a bit of "same old" creeping, particularly the venue and networking drinks. Lastly, and I am not sure how this is combatted, the audience was very poor, many of them were in the room but not present. (tablets, smart phones, etc.)
What did you like best about the event?
I liked the networking opportunities mostly, with the country programs adding specificity to the investment requirements of the different economic landscapes
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Short of banning phones and tablets, not a lot! I attended the conference pre covid and not a lot has changed regarding the agenda, venue, etc. Perhaps this should be refreshed?

At a great conference, I was invited to speak on ESG and sustainability which are key topics facing both investors and companies, and the conference was well run and well attended.
What did you like best about the event?
The well-run conference, excellent "speed dating" meeting format, good range of attendees, and much buy-in on ESG and sustainability issues.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More networking opportunities and more companies/projects being pitched would be good.

Very effective way to meet the full eco system
What did you like best about the event?
The event was very well organized, efficient and relevant. I met with many other African investors including GPs and corporates. Met with potential investment leads also and advisors. The venue was central and easy to get to with plenty of options to stay in. The help desk was always willing to help and accommodate logistics and meeting people.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The event was spread out over multiple floors and may be better held on a single floor. Networking via the app was proving difficult as the app was "slow" in reacting and also organizing a meeting point was tricky. It would be useful to think about more meeting points at these meetings

What did you like best about the event?
It was well structured, had the right fit of attendees, and was worth the while participating.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I was relooking at the networking sessions perhaps setting a time limit (speed date setup) for meeting different organizations. I stood in lines to meet specific organizations and time was up before getting a chance to engage.
