I thought Fintech meet up this past year was the very best Fintech conference I've actually ever attended. And I've attended ETA Transact. I've been to Money 20/20 several times, Finovate several times. And the reason I liked Fintech meet up so much this past year was the quality, the curation and the energy of the one on one meetings. I think that's where real connections are forged where it's so hard to meander and hopefully catch up with somebody that is a good connection at a networking event or a party. But what defines Fintech meetup is the ability to request specific meetings in advance, have them matched up and organized for you and an app that makes it easy to find the right people.

Great conference. I look forward to this event every year.
What did you like best about the event?
Everyone comes ready to collaborate and work and is open to conversations that help broaden their mindset.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More locations to decompress beyond the lunch tables. Sitting areas outside of the expo/meeting hall.

Every year, it is hands down the best event. It's the one show that I cannot miss!
What did you like best about the event?
The event is very well organized, and the match-making is superb. The vast majority of meetings are high quality.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
It would be great if you could find a way to reduce the sound volume (carpeting, a couple of meeting areas throughout the facility, etc.).

We had a great experience! We booked 50 meetings over two days.
What did you like best about the event?
The event was exceptionally well coordinated - they ran a tight ship! I miss the smaller location, but they made it feel intimate despite its ample space. They hosted great panels, too!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The app was a little difficult to use. It was so strict that if we needed to reschedule, we had to cancel, which was rough.

It was a good conference, but the scheduling was very loud and frantic.
What did you like best about the event?
It was a great opportunity to meet with a wide variety of people; I appreciated the logistics of scheduling the pre-selection.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
There was a different layout for the speed meetings—tables too close together, so loud I felt like I was yelling (I lost my voice). The table talks are a good idea, but I think people needed a break from talking or from organized talking.

Fintech Meetup is best for curated 1:1's.
What did you like best about the event?
Excellent 1:1 matches and organization, the app makes it easy, and the scheduling is straightforward to follow.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
It was much too loud during the 1:1's; it'd be helpful to have some sound baffling between meetings or at least some carpet to offset the loud talking.
