The sixth edition of Intersekt is back in 2022!

2021 was a highlight year with traditional financial institutes coming together with fintechs and other financial services companies to showcase partnerships and collaboration more than ever before. Australia’s most thought provoking fintech conference gathered Australian fintechs, hubs, accelerators, policymakers, regulators, investors and advisors to analyse, discuss and unlock the potential of Australia’s fintech market.

The 2022 program will again bring together leading international and national speakers, with roundtables, workshops, satellite events and extensive networking opportunities with multiple social functions.

Hosted by FinTech Australia and supported by the Victorian Government, Intersekt 2022 is the fintech conference that everyone values, with opportunities to connect with potential investors, customers, partners, suppliers and advisors.

Intersect was a really good conference to attend as well as speak at. I feel like there was a vast amount of speakers from different industries that can provide a lot of knowledge for the audience as well as a great representation of all the companies that were involved. It was a real honor to be flown over by mastercard to discuss identity and fraud alongside mastercard. I really enjoyed the venue. I thought it was really well set out lots of nice food, really friendly, hosts and stuff. So yeah, thank you so much.

I really enjoyed connecting with people but found it a bit hard until I had got the hang of the app
What did you like best about the event?
The app was great it helped us plan and keep on top of what was happening at each of the sessions
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Help at the start with the application and also keeping events to time as quite a few went over making planning difficult

Professional and well-structured with relevant and informative speakers and topics for the Fintech community.
What did you like best about the event?
The topics covered and the speaker's knowledge - the venue was beautiful and everything was easy to follow with clear instructions via email before the event commenced.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More days for the event. More stands to represent the businesses attending to allow for internal discussions between companies and networking.

Great way to stay on top of what's happening in fintech
What did you like best about the event?
Getting together with everyone in the industry and catching up, particularly over networking drinks.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Find different formats vs. a series of panels - more interactive, live demos, etc. There used to be a section for 'speed networking' - most of the great stuff happens outside the sessions catching up and meeting people - if they could facilitate this in a more organized manner that would be great. Could we do one in Sydney?
