It was nice to have the conference getting bigger again. After the pandemic, there were a lot of cutting edge speakers and workshop presenters and the networking event was pretty good this year. I think they could have had a little more hands on things to do, but it was a good, a good time.

A TD 22 was just an amazing experience. It was incredible to be able to get together with colleagues and thought partners from across the world to network, to grow, to learn about what others are doing, to learn about new things and learning and development and organization consulting. Just a really, really wonderful program, wonderful networking event, wonderful expo. I highly recommend it to anyone in the learning and development field who's looking to expand their networks, expand their knowledge, just expand their professional development, expand their excitement about the energy and everything that's happening in learning development. Truly a can't miss event.

Used the conference to connect with friends, make new contacts, and network.
What did you like best about the event?
The energy, the eagerness of everyone I met to connect and network (probably a pent-up desire after the pandemic).
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I found it difficult to get the app uploaded and functioning--and the app is critical for a suitable conference experience.

A thoroughly enjoyable and well organized event!
What did you like best about the event?
The attendees were enthusiastic, and the setup was professional in every way. I also enjoyed being allowed to meet and greet attendees and sign my book.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Perhaps I could expect a little bit more information about the size room/crowd going in.

Food Folks and Fun!
What did you like best about the event?
The organization, topical relevance of speakers, great lunch options, and excellent flow in the Expo. The live band was cool.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
While I enjoyed the curated learning tracks in the app, it would be even cooler to type in details about myself into an AI widget (my age, belief system, management style, interests, experience, etc.) and then have a personalized learning path provided for me. This could have been done with today's tech - I would like to see this at an upcoming conference.

Fabulous experience connecting with the Talent Development world.
What did you like best about the event?
Connecting with friends and colleagues, I have known for many years and meeting new people.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Unfortunately, there were challenges with the WIFI, and I couldn't log into the app for two days. That dampened my ATD23 experience, but I found workarounds.

Great for learning and networking.
What did you like best about the event?
Many different topics and experts. Lots of new business changes after the pandemic to learn about.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
It's difficult to think of anything that was missing. Maybe add more hands-on things to do at networking night. Fix the slow wifi at the conference center.

ATD-ICE - Great for me and my team!
What did you like best about the event?
I loved connecting and reconnecting with the TD community. Great content at so many different levels; there's something for everyone. Because of that, I could find value and bring members of my team, allowing us to have a learning experience together.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I love networking, and I think it would be great to offer more opportunities to bring people together to talk about what they've learned and how they will take it back to their organizations. Maybe some facilitated implementation discussions for people to think about the what, why, and how.

Great experience at ATD!
What did you like best about the event?
Networking and meeting all different kinds of people. Also enjoyed doing a session on Wednesday for my company.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More information on peek times for the Expo Hall, and pushing attendees to explore the entire EXPO area (we were in the back and saw less traffic)

Very energetic conference with a lot to offer!
What did you like best about the event?
Adam Grant keynote, upgraded Expo lunch, easy check-in for presenters, helpful people around the convention center.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Paper nametags were tough to keep looking nice. San Diego is an expensive and far-flung location. I heard complaints about session capacity from participants; room monitors were not present before sessions to get instructions and help at critical points, some rooms seemed very small/tight, and some seemed too large. I couldn't quite get the hang of the social portion of the app. The volume of the music before the opening session and in the hallways was too loud. A vital part of the conference was talking with people, and it precluded it. I liked the music, and it was a fun element; it just didn't need to be so loud. The woman who hosted the opening session was pleasant, but I found her difficult to understand. I suggest not asking for names in this evaluation if you want the most honest input. Find another way to do the gift card because that's a nice touch.
