What a great venue. I'm a San Diegan, so I was quite proud that our hometown did so well. The word to describe the conference, it was. It was huge, but it felt intimate. It was.

Sherm 2025 was phenomenal. This is my very first annual conference with Sherm. And it was almost as if the weather in San Diego was just. Made for the conference. It just added to the energy, the collaboration, the connection, the learning. It was, it was really fantastic. I was happy to be there.

I was incredibly impressed with the SHRM conference overall. I had never been to such a well-produced large global conference. doesn't seem like any detail was left behind, and you felt really taken care of as an attendee, and that you're gonna walk in and Be able to find the place that you needed to be anytime you needed to find it, um. I thought the content was great. I'm not an HR professional, but I still found some of the attendee, the, the sessions useful. I thought the exhibitor hall was excellent, and, just overall incredibly well done, easy to navigate, fun to discover new vendors, partners. That was the most valuable part for me, as someone who was trying to get to know the ecosystem of the HR community. I was a speaker and that process was also really flawless. um. It also appreciated the sort of autonomy allowed to me to, to figure out the panel and the panelists and put everything together, and we all had a really good time. And felt a lot of support from SHRM. So overall, it was a really great experience and I just really appreciate the level of detail, everything from the hotel shuttles to the volunteers helping you, you know, get from point A to point B, to the, you know, Steinage, and it was, it was clear that you guys did an incredible amount of thinking and coordination and production, um. And I'm, you know, even, I attended the last day session with Joe Biden, and I was just also impressed with the, the energy of all the show folks who were showing people to their seats and, you know, the DJ and the host, and again, just a, a really well overall produced event that, felt incredibly worthwhile. So thank you.

Some parts were amazing, other parts not so much.
What did you like best about the event?
The connections with other people were amazing. The quality of the HR community was wonderful!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
As a speaker, I had tech issues with ensuring that my presentation's polling features worked. I had asked many questions in advance of the event and had worked to ensure a smooth experience, but I still ended up spending 8 hours in the speaker's ready room the day before my presentation, working to fix issues. And, even after that, there were still issues.

Proud to be a part of something so awesome in every way.
What did you like best about the event?
The venue was the star, but the people also made it feel intimate, even though it was huge.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Nothing. Just a note of praise, I appreciated the longer breaks between sessions, which allowed enough time to walk from breakout to break and still grab a coffee or stop and chat with someone.

The experience was outstanding, and the onsite team was exceptionally professional and helpful.
What did you like best about the event?
The room (Marriott Grand Ballroom) where I spoke was exceptional. Easy to find and spacious.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
As a speaker, several attendees commented on how far away and disconnected the book signing was from the SHRMStore.

The conference featured beautiful venues and big-name headline speakers.
What did you like best about the event?
Beautiful location on the shores of San Diego. Headliners were compelling names. The breakout speakers were experts in their field and presented valuable information. The vendor expo was unlike anything I've ever seen.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Provide a broader range of breakout topics. Most were very narrowly HR related. Think more holistically.

SHRM25 was fantastic!
What did you like best about the event?
The collaboration between the SHRM attendees, new and returning. Everyone was happy to meet a new colleague and conference comrade (as someone called me).
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
From my vantage point, it was excellent. As a speaker, I can say that every area was covered. The speaker room, speaker ready room, and support teams were excited and prepared. Thank you!

Excellent networking opportunities, very nice and convenient hotel, and all around a great time.
What did you like best about the event?
Interesting mix of speakers with a walkable area. Wish that there was a hotel shuttle so that I didn't have to pay for transportation out of pocket.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The conference app should allow you to message attendees directly or to get their contact information.

The volunteer role was fantastic. Sessions were good. The facility, although large, was easy to maneuver.
What did you like best about the event?
The number of sessions and content to choose from is more than ample for any level of attendee.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Lunch service was a continual challenge. The General Session speaker could be more notable. The Office ladies were great, and Johnny is always great. The others, not so much. The cost to attend the event was way too expensive for smaller to mid-size companies with HR departments that are very small.

So impressed at the level of production and attention to detail. Felt incredibly well taken care of as an attendee and speaker.
What did you like best about the event?
The energy of the attendees, staff, and the overall event. The enthusiasm was felt everywhere - it felt like a true, collective experience.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
2 suggestions: 1) Some more curated sessions for specific audiences - like having "tracks" or more closed-door events. I think that could have facilitated some more targeted networking opportunities. 2) I didn't realize the door policies for some of the more popular talks, so having a heads-up about arriving at sessions that you anticipate will be full would be helpful.

I had a great time at SHRM. The experience was very professional. The energy was great as a speaker, the, the entire atmosphere was just really well and well received for myself, especially the engagement with the audience, and the message was well received too as well. There's many people that suffer. with impostor syndrome, burnout, limiting beliefs, and the talk on breaking the bottle just really focused on some of those things that are impeding us to get to the next level and it was well received. I really enjoyed my time there as a speaker and just the engagement with the audience too as well. So great time at Sherman.
