The A3 Business Forum, held at the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, in Orlando, Florida, USA, is the world's leading annual networking event for robotics, vision & imaging, motion control & motors, and artificial intelligence industry professionals. Nearly 650 global automation leaders in the automation industry attended the A3 Business Forum in 2020 and included automation manufacturers, integrators, suppliers, and end users.
The A3 Business Forum is only open to employees of members of the Association for Advancing Automation (A3). It's a great way to make industry connections, meet new business partners and make new friends.

The best event of the year. I got a chance to meet and talk with industry leaders that I would have been unable to reach on my own via traditional methods.
What did you like best about the event?
The networking and ITR's presentation on the economy as well as the numbers on the industry and growth.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I think creating more opportunities for networking would be good. Like a kind of speed dating event would be fun just to meet as many people as possible.

Absolutely incredible. I left with so many great new connections and business opportunities. The combination of great people in attendance and strong speakers made this a great use of my time.
What did you like best about the event?
The caliber of attendees. Everyone was a business owner or leader and as a result, every discussion was productive and could yield future business and/or friendships.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
With so much energy and such a great set of speakers and attendees, they really should hire professional photographers to capture the magic of the event. It's a missed opportunity for content that they could use to promote how amazing A3 is for the rest of the year.

World Class Content & Networking Event
What did you like best about the event?
Virtually every session was packed with relevant and timely content and data that helped me grow our business and there was purposeful networking time built in throughout the day that really helped me connect with people at a deep level.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Hard to say. In the app, it would have been nice to have more descriptions of each session outside of a generic title and the app titles rarely matched the presenter's titles. I may have missed it in the email, but it would have been helpful to know the dress code a little more clearly as a newbie.

So hard to say. ITR economics or the Cybersecurity one or Suneel Gupta.

Really enjoyed the conference. Presentations were very good and time for networking was perfect.

Presentations were very good and liked the continuous flow and not having the breakout sessions in the afternoon.

Not much... the presentations were great this year. The flow and timing of everything we again great.

Outstanding networking event
What did you like best about the event?
Plenty of networking opportunities and time Excellent speakers (in person) good food Orlando as location in winter is great. Hotel is a bit over-priced for what they offer you
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Add more controversial topics and speakers (fail deployments, challenges, hypes, etc) speakers in person (Verizon presentation was lower quality than the rest) while we are all in automation, some separation into groups for more focus networking would help. E.g. we are not so much interested in motors and encoders but would love to talk with users, integrators and other OEMs Night Event at Epcot (Disney)?

Best industry and networking event I attended in a while
What did you like best about the event?
Keynotes were great, location and networking events were very enjoyable
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Roundtables were the least interesting to me as a robotics manufacturer. I think workshops to gather certain segments of our industry together would be nice. I would have liked a different format: one additional day but conferences only in the morning or until 3pm and the rest of the afternoons free to connect and network on our own taking advantage of the location
