What did you like best about the event?
Meet friends and new people from the Aerospace companies and universities worldwide.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Luncheon used to be better with seated service and better meals. Breakfast at the session briefing was networking, and coffee in between sessions was appreciated.

Fantastic Forum
What did you like best about the event?
I loved the 'bang for the buck.' I think the student experience is invaluable. I loved the structure and format.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I noticed attendees would leave early or come late to talks a few times. This could cause quite a disruption if the exit doors were at the front. The doors could always be at the back, and attendees could be encouraged to stick in the room until a talk ends for courtesy (unless there is an emergency).

An opportunity to connect and learn.
What did you like best about the event?
The discussion groups and some of the technical content, meeting with collaborators.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The conference wifi was unusable, making it challenging to keep up with work. The exhibition hall was too small to host a social event.

Good week of learning.
What did you like best about the event?
There were LOTS of sessions to attend; I appreciated the wide selection of topics.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I often felt that the presentations grouped in the same session were not very closely related and ended up moving from one room to another to follow my interests. This was particularly true for the two sessions where I presented.

AIAA SciTech Attendance 2024
What did you like best about the event?
Standard AIAA SciTech conference - the app was excellent this year, though! It was useful for creating a schedule, finding talks, etc. Great improvement over previous years!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Extremely crowded at any conference-wide event - welcome receptions, meals, etc. Also, convention center wifi could not handle the conference. Many rooms for technical talks were overflowing and it was impossible to attend some talks.

A lot of time was dedicated to presenting or chairing sessions, limiting my ability to attend some interesting sessions despite paying the corporate rate registration fee.
What did you like best about the event?
It was a very big event, as usual, with the possibility of meeting a lot of key aerospace actors.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
We need to be careful with platform setup, speakers, desks, and platforms - there was indeed an incident during Axel Krein's presentation where he fell from the platform. Also, the room's data connection is poor, so we cannot have hybrid sessions.

The conference was pretty good. It was much better than last year at National Harbor.
What did you like best about the event?
The technical sessions were pretty good, and some networking events were fun. I also like the venue.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
In the past (pre-COVID), I thought the lunches were sit-down rather than boxed lunches. I could be wrong about that, though. Anyway, I know that the boxed lunches were included in the professional rate, but it might be better to get rid of them and lower the registration fee accordingly. In general, they are way more expensive than me grabbing lunch somewhere. However, I did like the Tuesday reception. The food was good there. I wonder if there is a way to manage traffic better since so many people were packed there.

The people and technical presentations were amazing; however, the size of the event significantly diminished the experience.
What did you like best about the event?
The technical presentations and networking opportunities were very beneficial and enjoyable.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?

The experience was great.
What did you like best about the event?
Professional service everywhere. Although AIAA SciTech is the most expensive conference I have attended, the money was spent to provide excellent service, which is worth the money.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The conference site clearly is short of restaurants. Many of us have to wait long to get a seat at restaurants in the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

SciTech has high-quality technical papers on advanced materials and other research areas my students can learn from!
What did you like best about the event?
High-quality technical presentations, networking, and some vendors at the exhibitions.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Your morning speakers and session chairs meeting was not organized!! This needed to be improved!! Your box lunch event is terrible with such long lines!! I skipped the reception events since they may have 6,000+ to attend a COVID-19 event!!

It is an excellent event for networking and learning about new research and technology advances.
What did you like best about the event?
The Exposition Hall was fantastic! Seeing different companies and what they do was really cool.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The happy hour event was overcrowded and really disorganized. It was super chaotic, and accidents are highly likely in situations like that.

There were lots of interesting talks, though the entire event was very crowded.
What did you like best about the event?
The various technical talks had a lot of good content. I also met up with former students and friends.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The event was very crowded. It was practically impossible to get from one side to the other during the networking breaks as too many people were there. I think a bigger venue is warranted the next time around.

Great opportunity for networking and seeing the state-of-the-art!
What did you like best about the event?
The sessions were well-organized and evenly distributed across the days, which helped in listening to as many talks as possible but without too much fatigue.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
It would be great to have more space-related companies, especially related to electronics and modules, in the industry hall.

Good Experience. Lots of topics. Great Participation.
What did you like best about the event?
The feeling of community. The networking events were well organized. I think the best thing about the event was the venue.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Try to keep similar topic areas in nearby rooms. It felt like I walked for 3-5 minutes to get from one room to the next, which did not allow me to ask questions. For example, the primary set of rooms in the space flight mechanics sections was in Bayhill 17,18 and Silver Spring 1. Bayhill and Spring are on different levels and require a bit of a walk. It was very inconvenient to walk back and forth between talks.

Excellent technical conference with a lot to gain.
What did you like best about the event?
The depth of the technical presentations and the opportunity to explore other areas outside my disciplines.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Fewer parallel sessions and longer break time. Also, find a hotel honest. Attendees were talking about this hotel not very honestly, e.g., raising the rate on existing bookings at the last minute and making early trip planning/budget approval difficult.

It was a great experience and a reminder of how wide and deep the reach of the aerospace community is.
What did you like best about the event?
It was very well organized and covered an immense number of topics. There was always an interesting session to attend.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would recommend not having the food and drinks for the social comingled with the exhibit hall but would rather put it just outside. There was a lot of foot traffic, and navigating the exhibit hall was a little difficult.

Nice visit. Many interesting papers. Ran into many former colleagues.
What did you like best about the event?
Vast number of attendees from many different organizations. There are many technical papers to listen to.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Navigating to different rooms was difficult; the printed map had a font that was too small to read.
