Wonderful experience!
The event was very well hosted, even though it was virtual. There were a lot of industry leaders, all providing great knowledge. As someone who comes in with little knowledge in the domain of microservices, I feel that I learned a lot and I think I am caught up with what is going on in that space of our industry!
Many good sessions were going on at the same time. Also, it would be nice if the slides were shared before the presentations :)

It was nice and well organized.
The organization of the event was pretty well and as a speaker, the staff actively helped on the technical side. Enthusiastic audience. And all other talks and workshops were in good quality too.
Better to understand the audience prior to presenting if possible. So we can adjust to the audience accordingly.

Too many thought leaders and too little practical experience.
I thought the speaker onboarding was well done and practical.
- The content of this conference was disappointing. Lots of speakers whose experience is almost purely managerial (or came off as such). - Poor speaker A/V was pretty common. I believe that online speakers should at least be using quality microphones, and a number were using laptop microphones so they were hard to listen to.

I had a seamless and straightforward experience as a speaker.
I was a speaker at the event, so I am going to review it as a speaker. - The whole speaking experience was very seamless; Emily did a good job educating the speakers on what to expect during the day, how to prepare before, etc. Everything was crystal clear. - On the day of the event, it was also very straightforward. It was very helpful that all the steps are summarized in the email, so it was easy to access when the time comes. Getting on the platform, testing audio + video, getting into the session, all of it was super easy. Hopin was a good platform. Overall, it was a very straightforward experience, allowing me as a speaker to focus on speaking.
It seemed like there might have been some emails that did not come to everyone (but I am also not sure). On the speaker training, someone asked about dropping the deck into Dropbox that was in a previous email, but I did not get such an email. Just one minor thing otherwise it was really good.

Dev Week experience is always useful - to know the latest tech and what's going on around the industry.
So many companies attending is the best part. It helped me to know better about what each company is, by attending their booths. Games/Raffles are a fun part too. Keep up the good work :)

Great public speaking experience!
I really liked the process before my talk. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The talk went great with a lot of attendees (pick a 100!), and lots of valuable questions.
For the online conferences, it would be nice at some point to get to see the audience. It's sometimes difficult to engage when you see only text messages in the chat.

The organization and support were top notch.
More visibility on the attendees and meeting opportunities. Recently, I attended another conference on Hopin, which used a platform called Brella and it helped people to connect. Something of that extent would be great.
