CodeMash is a unique event that will educate developers on current practices, methodologies and technology trends in variety of platforms and development languages such as Java, .NET, Ruby and PHP. Held at the lush Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio, attendees will be able to attend a world-class technical conference amid Ohio's largest indoor waterpark. Nobody will frown if you show up in shorts, sandals, and your loudest t-shirt. You might even win a prize for doing so.

Great to be back at CodeMash
What did you like best about the event?
I loved the variety and quality of sessions and the ample opportunities to connect with people.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Things were not entirely set up on the first day of the pre-compilers. I know it was the venue staff mix-up, but the organizers can add an extra pre-check step in there for next year.

It was a nice opportunity to meet developers from the area and here about the kinds of projects they work on.
What did you like best about the event?
The event was very well planned, and I appreciated all the shout-outs to the sponsors for helping to make the event possible.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Free snacks would be a nice touch. I understand the financial considerations, but it's a bummer you had to buy them.

The ability to blend kidzmash, waterpark fun time, speaking and attending provided me with the best CodeMash I've ever been to.
What did you like best about the event?
Ability to mix family and professional with no friction. Kidzmash was fun for the family, and so was the waterpark, while the sessions and speaking were educational and fun for me.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Update the experience from past years to the current. For example, kidzmash website said there were T-shirts for the kids, but they were not given out this year. The info should have been updated.

Variety of content, good speakers, and something was interesting to me every session.

Hall presentations, birds of a feather type opportunities - add ways for people to engage with others they don't know.

Great experience!
What did you like best about the event?
I like the fact that people from all over technology are out there under one roof, and there are a lot of opportunities to learn about new stuff.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The session didn’t have a feedback form this year. Please bring those back. Also, if the communication of the recording not being done for sessions had been sent ahead of time, it would have been great.

Loved it - CodeMash is an amazing conference.
What did you like best about the event?
The hallway conversations. I also found the quality and quantity of the pre-compilers really good.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More cowbell. In seriousness, focusing on what made CodeMash great in the past - technical-minded folk getting together to learn and network. I understand the budget was lower this year, but CodeMash survived years with a much smaller budget and was awesome.
