About dataMinds Connect 2023

dataMinds Connect is a 2 day in-person event in the wonderful city of Mechelen, Belgium. It's an IT related event with a specific focus on the Microsoft Data & AI Platform.

This is the new and improved version of the (former SQLUG.be) SQL Server Days. New and improved, keeping in mind the same core values. 2 days filled with learning, networking and a whole lot of laughs while doing so!

This year will be the 16th edition of the conference, and running for the sixth time as dataMinds Connect. Aiming to bring together all people with a passion for the Microsoft Data & AI Platform, in all flavours possible, we're hoping to reunite with our many community members in person again, and share our common passion.

Interesting sessions
What did you like best about the event?
I learned a lot on the subject of data visualization, which is something I personally want to grow in.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I personally thought the afternoon of the second day was quite heavy. There are a lot of sessions, and it gets hard to focus sometimes.

A 'must be there' event for data-enthusiasts
What did you like best about the event?
The like minded Data enthousiasts, the fraternity between competitors/colleagues. The excellent catering and the helpful staff.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Nothing really. It was my first time and I had nothing to complain about. It was well organized. Everything went smooth.

Great event with a nice crowd, organization, and line up!
What did you like best about the event?
The venue was awesome, with a great crowd, lovely food and catering, nice rooms, a speaker's room, and great organizers. What's not to love about an event like this!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
All was so awesome; no complaints! I hope the sponsors were also happy. Some in the background were probably not that visible. I was missing some networking between sponsors and the audience!
