About Developer Week 2024

Each year, 8,000+ developers, engineers, software architects, dev teams, managers, and executives from 70+ countries gather for DeveloperWeek (Feb 21–23, 2024, San Francisco Bay Area & Feb 27-29, 2024, Virtual) to discover the latest in developer technologies, languages, platforms, and tools.

DeveloperWeek 2024 is the largest developer conference & event series including the DeveloperWeek 2024 Conference & Expo, 1,000+ attendee hackathon, 800+ attendee tech hiring expo, and a series of workshops, technical talks, and keynotes.

Because DeveloperWeek covers all new technologies, our conference and workshops invite you to get intro lessons (or advanced tips and tricks) on technologies like VR Dev, Artificial Intelligence Dev, Blockchain Dev, IoT Dev, Serverless technology, Microservices technology, new JavaScript frameworks, and more.

This year, DeveloperWeek will have an expanded DevExec World, which is 2 days of roundtable talks, educational talks, and networking events for engineering managers, tech executives, and lead developers. Additionally, DeveloperWeek will be co-located with ProductWorld and CloudWorld.

DeveloperWeek puts the spotlight on new technologies. Companies that participated in past DeveloperWeek events include Google, Facebook, Yelp, Rackspace, IBM, Cloudera, Red Hat, Optimizely, SendGrid, Blackberry, Microsoft, Neo Technology, Eventbrite, Klout, Built.io, Ripple, GNIP, Tagged, HackReactor, and 30+ more here!

It's a great event for networking. Lots of different tracks, different topics you can learn about pretty much anything you want, lots of opportunities to do. So I met lots of people at the conference. So overall, a great event and I would definitely recommend it.

Developer Week was a lot of fun. It was really awesome to meet with so many people in a live venue. It was awesome to see the exhibit exhibitor fair. There was ton going on there and then of course, there were so many sessions to pick from. and the topics were both, you know, really general and then also very specific depending on what I wanted to learn. Really had a great time.

I really liked Developer Week. It was very well organized, the speakers were great. The guidance from the staff was wonderful and the location was awesome. So for me, one of the best conferences of the year.

Great event for networking!
What did you like best about the event?
Lots of tracks and different topics. There are plenty of roundtable events to interact with the speakers.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Perhaps have more specific tracks or talk titles at times, as many speakers stuffed "AI" in their talk titles, but the content had nothing to do with AI. Prevent clickbait!

It was great
What did you like best about the event?
The ping pong tournament was impressively run. I thought the venue was great as well.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would have preferred a better schedule of speakers. Finding a good speaker was very random. I would have preferred time slots for good, better, and best.

Excellent experience with the possibility of showcasing our products and hearing from REAL developers!
What did you like best about the event?
I really enjoyed being near developers who were willing to learn more about the trends and news out there. It's amazing to hear from developers about the main concerns, problems, and pain that they face. Also, it's amazing to show them how our solutions can help them overcome their problems.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I think the event could have used more advertising and awareness. We had multiple companies there and a lot of new content, so I think more people should have known about it.

The sales rep is focused on new and existing accounts.
What did you like best about the event?
Networking, seeing old friends, and talking to potential customers. Good attendance from target companies.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
A lot of students and job seekers which isn't really relevant to a sales and marketing team.
