It was amazing to be at Google Cloud Next 2023 in person, we got to know what is in store for generative AI and, and was excited to hear so many of generative AI announcements got to know about what other industry thought leaders are doing. And the keynote was amazing.

As a speaker and as an attendee, I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Google Cloud. Next, it had a pretty good attendance from the developers from the ecosystem and it's been a great experience of being a speaker. I think this is one of the first in-person events. After a long time, the content, the attendees, the speakers and and just being everyone has been extremely useful. I also had the opportunity to meet some of the luminaries like Briana Bikram and others from India. And that's been another very valuable experience for me. Overall, both as a speaker and attendee, I found Google Cloud next to be a great event, very useful, both in terms of networking and content.

Great experience - great talks!

What did you like best about the event?

I thought the event was very well organized and laid out - flow from one room to the next was easy, and they had great lunch options.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?

The party should be a silent disco, where they have 3 DJs and give out headphones that allow the users to switch between what music they're listening to. It would be a great experience for all of us nerds!

Confusing layout. Lack of signage and maps and directions

What did you like best about the event?

plenty of seating. Well done, this is something that is usually lacking at conferences, but there were benches and tables and even comfortable lounge chairs. During conferences people always need a place to decompress, take a call or check email. We could use even more of these spaces. thanks

What could the organizers do to improve the event?

Lack of maps and signage. Not enough people to ask questions. I show up to pick up my badge and they send me across the street and then those people send me right back to where I started becuase this is a separate badge pick up for sponsors. LIkewise, I was doing a talk in the expo theater. I asked the registration people where that is and they sent me all the way down the hall and to take the escalator to the basement where I searched and asked many many people and all were confused. Finally I found from my own marketing team that it was in the actual expo. No clue what the reg folks were thinking of. Please label the cloud theater, the expo theater etc. a little different, it's confusing.

The single thing that would have been better would be to have more free meeting spaces outside of booths on the show floor.

The number of different roles and people to interact with across many different types of organizations

More food and drink options. Coffee was hard to come by and those are typically ways to bump into new people

It's much better than 2023 in terms of both logistics and content.

What did you like best about the event?

I like the overall focus of Gen AI even though I'm skeptical about some of the applications. The logistics is also much better than 2023.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?

I'd say distribute the food in all locations instead of a few so people don't need to go back and forth.

Google Cloud Next was informative and provided insights into breakthroughs in AI and inspiring success stories from customers and partners around the world. The event left everyone equipped to tackle real-world challenges and build for the transformative AI era.

What did you like best about the event?

Great content, informative showcases and breakout sessions, access to Googlers, partners, vendors, and clients/customers, and a great location.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?

Please provide for recycling stations. Bottles and other recyclable materials were discarded in the trash bins. Provide for bottled water. Water dispensing stations were located at very inconvenient locations and there were only few of them. It was impossible to walk to the expo hall and reach in time for showcases and meeting with partners after attending executive sessions. The time it took to walk to expo hall was too long and I missed my showcases.
