Overall, I had a really positive experience with Julia Con. It was my first Julia Con ever. But I think I would like to come back next year as well. I really appreciate giving me a chance to present my work in Julia. Although I'm a beginner, I would like to do more and more development in Julia and continue my work.

Is a very good event. I like the workshops conducted. They are very informative and then they, they've added a lot of value to my knowledge. Yeah, I'll be waiting for July 2023. And the speakers are really, really amazing. Then you can go and you.

Online participation was easy, and I liked using Youtube vs. other platforms for viewing.
What did you like best about the event?
I enjoyed the breadth of the talks. I think including more talks on Julia itself would also benefit beginners.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
There are too many concurrent sessions; I would prefer having fewer talks since it makes it difficult to attend all the talks you want to since they often conflict. Also, the price is too expensive to attend in person, and the hotel costs are quite cost-prohibitive for non-US visitors. I prefer a cheaper location or at least cheaper tickets.

JuliaCon at MIT in Boston offered a vibrant space to explore the Julia programming language's latest developments and collaborate with fellow enthusiasts.
What did you like best about the event?
Attendees universally praised the depth and diversity of technical talks at JuliaCon. The engaging discussions ranged from foundational concepts to advanced techniques, catering to both newcomers and seasoned Julia programmers.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Organizers could enhance the conference experience by implementing interactive workshops or hands-on coding sessions, allowing participants to apply Julia programming concepts in real time. Additionally, dedicated networking sessions or social events could foster more opportunities for attendees to connect and collaborate, enriching their overall JuliaCon experience.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?

Keynotes (Tim Holy, Chris Rackauckas). Nothing in particular, but I've liked the many different sessions.

A really fun time!
What did you like best about the event?
This was the first JuliaCon I had attended in person, and I really enjoyed it. Meeting everyone there (some whom I knew from Github and Discourse!) and running around between different talks was great. I really liked the variety of subjects too - some very computing-forward, some climate, some Astro, and some really unique ones too.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would have loved to be able to see more of the talks! The five parallel tracks made it hard to choose which words to see. At the same time, I liked how many talks were available. Maybe next year, I'd keep the same number of talks but add an extra day so there were only three parallel tracks.

I had an incredibly positive experience at the conference. The developer community was fantastic. In the future editions, I hope to see more topics related to Earth Observation. This being my first JuliaCon, I'm definitely considering attending again next year.
What did you like best about the event?
I appreciate the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse fields, as their expertise can be valuable and applicable to my own domain.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
During my presentation, there were audio issues that affected the online viewers' ability to hear the content. I recommend giving more attention to streaming in the future.
