This is Peter Gammell, CEO of UV Light. We attended the leap show this year and had three exciting days meeting with investors, customers and potential suppliers. We also participated in the rocket fuel competition where we reached the finalist level. It was a fantastic event for everyone involved and we look forward to participating again in the future.

Despite the problems with getting to and from the conference which took between two and three hours for the average person because the location was not somewhere where it should have been. Overall, the conference was pretty ok. Lots to improve, but we believe in future years that leap will become pretty amazing.

LEAP was a ZOO.
What did you like best about the event?
We are meeting key players in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East all at one conference. The after-party outside at night after the conference was a nice touch
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The location of the event was terrible (in the middle of a desert). It took us 2+ hours to enter from Riyadh, and parking was a mess. We had to walk 2km in the desert to just get to the entry. Then I had to go to the bathroom, and there were hundreds of men in line. Ridiculous!

LEAP was a wonderful conference. It was very fruitful for us as a startup in the tech space.
What did you like best about the event?
I loved how there were multiple stages with various speakers from different industries. The venue was well organized.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The drive-in and entrance could be managed much better. On Day 1, it took a very long time to enter the venue.

Great innovators and opportunities in one event.

The quality of the speaker and the content is most relevant and impressive to the audience.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Traffic jams, location too far and hotel too expensive which is very big turn down to all visitors.

It was one of the most well-organized speaker experiences.
What did you like best about the event?
Attending and speaking at LEAP 24 in Riyadh was an experience that went beyond my expectations. As someone who's been involved in various family office, finance, and tech events around the world, the scale and organization of LEAP 24 set a new standard. With over 150,000 attendees and a plethora of exhibitors and experts from across the globe, the energy was palpable. The involvement of over 1,800 international and local exhibitors, including giants like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and many more, showcased the event's global appeal and significance. The diversity of participants, from over 600 startups to tech behemoths and more than 1,000 technical experts, created a melting pot of ideas and innovations that was inspiring to be part of. Amidst this grandeur, my speaking session felt like contributing to the tech world's future direction. The audience engagement and the insightful questions raised were testaments to the quality of participants LEAP 24 attracted. The organization was impeccable, ensuring that every session, workshop, and exhibit ran smoothly despite the massive scale, allowing for meaningful interactions and knowledge exchange. What stood out was the technological advancements displayed and the vision for a digital future that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is steering toward. The exhibition wasn't just about showcasing technology; it was about highlighting successful digital transformations, government AI initiatives, and setting a roadmap for an innovative digital environment in the Kingdom and beyond. Networking with like-minded professionals, industry leaders, and visionary thinkers was invaluable. The collaborations and conversations I had at LEAP 24 have opened new avenues for mutual growth and innovation. Events like these remind us of the collective effort and shared vision required to shape the future of technology. In conclusion, LEAP 24 was more than just a tech exhibition; it was a glimpse into the future of digital innovation, a testament to the Kingdom's ambitious digital transformation journey, and a platform that brought the global tech community together. As a speaker, the experience was profoundly rewarding, leaving me inspired and looking forward to what the future holds in this fast-evolving digital world.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
To further enhance the experience at LEAP, one key area of improvement could focus on traffic management. Given the significant influx of attendees, the congestion around the conference venue can be quite challenging. Implementing a more efficient traffic management system would greatly alleviate this issue. Additionally, the introduction of shuttle services or a train system from parking areas located further from the venue could not only improve accessibility but also contribute to a smoother flow of participants. This approach would reduce the pressure on the immediate vicinity of the event, making the commute more pleasant for everyone involved. Such improvements in transportation logistics would not only elevate the overall attendee experience but also reflect positively on the event's organization and sustainability efforts.

The traffic was hideous, the Wi-Fi was a massive issue, and staff members were not aware of anything about the event.
What did you like best about the event?
The speakers and curtation of events were world-class, with so much talent attending.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Traffic flow, staggered access, or a solution, most people left the event on day one as it was so bad and terribly organized. VIP services, most of the time, no water in the VIP areas., It was horrific; none of the staff knew where they were or what the event was, only maps - directions if you had wifi, and periodically, there was none at the event.

This is a great opportunity to expand our Middle East network of investors, customers, and partners.
What did you like best about the event?
We loved the opportunity to meet with other startups through both informal networks and also the rocket fuel competition.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
While the event itself was well organized, travel to and from Riyadh was difficult, and parking was also a problem.

Once you got past the traffic, the event was amazing.
What did you like best about the event?
The amount and diversity of people and booths to visit were great, and the initiatives announced were interesting.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Traffic management was horrendous, and people driving on the sand created real problems. The traffic wardens could have been better trained as well.

What an amazing event, I loved it.
What did you like best about the event?
Such a breadth of discussions and insights about all things digital, a particular pleasure seeing conversations around education and future skills.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Goodness, it is hard to think of any areas for improvement, perhaps more toilets? That's all I could think of.

Networking was amazing, and the organizing team was very welcoming.
What did you like best about the event?
It was free. I don't know why people still charge for such events. They should be free but validated through official emails (work, university, etc.).
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Perhaps visa rules should be improved for the event. Otherwise, you either need to apply for a visa to stay 4 days in a row (5-6 considering flights) or have a shorter stay by travelling via SA airlines.

Great Networking Opportunity.
What did you like best about the event?
The Leap 2024 event was an excellent opportunity to learn about new technologies and meet with different vendors under one roof.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The organizers could have found a place that is more accessible and closer to Riyadh since commuting was incredibly long and Uber was very costly.

Transportation sucked, but they will fix that.
What did you like best about the event?
We had great meetings with interested partners. It felt like time well spent, despite the transportation challenges in year one outside the city.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Transportation is the biggest challenge. Having 100 buses would fix the event, as would moving it back to the city and having it be a sold-out event at higher prices.
