Pocket Gaming connect in London was great this year. There were lots of varied talks and panels. The venue was brilliant, and I especially enjoyed the VIP area for speakers, which was made bigger this year with a cinema for everybody to sit down and chill in.

Superb game developers networking event.
What did you like best about the event?
There were a lot of attendees from around the world, including many of the top publishers and development studios. Arranging meetings with them via MeetToMatch was easy. For speakers, the VIP room and lunch were very nicely organized.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Meeting points were crowded, so it was sometimes difficult to find the people you were meeting with. Also, even though I didn't have a booth, all my meetings in MeetToMatch were assigned to a booth (that wasn't mine!)

It's definitely one of the most worthwhile shows for the games industry. PG Connects is a focused conference and networking event that always leads to new opportunities and business. I learn about new trends and meet trendsetters. It's not to be missed.
What did you like best about the event?
The networking was the best part of the event. There could be some more areas, but it works.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The matchmaking system is really bad. I receive messages with change requests during the show but have to log in despite receiving an email that could contain the information without additional inconvenience.

Quite chaotic, busy, and overwhelming.
What did you like best about the event?
Touching base with other UA managers to see how their performance is going and discussing how we can help each other.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Less "clickbait" talk titles. There was a particular talk called something along the lines of "How the UA landscape will change over 2024," and it was only about UGC campaigns. There was nothing about tROAS campaigns or about different UA alleys (I spoke with quite a few networks offering different offer wall placements; they could've been discussed); it briefly touches on how AI can improve campaigns and asset generation (blkbox.ai). It made that talk feel quite ingenuous. I also don't believe there was anything to state what time food would be served, so the whole first day, I didn't eat anything. Whenever I had a break between networking, I'd check it out, and there was never food. If I'd known this information prior I'd have made sure I left myself space actually to eat.

It is always worth the visit, highly professional, getting deals done.
What did you like best about the event?
Pocket Gamer Connects event is business-oriented; you get to meet old friends and new faces.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Perhaps there were more meeting tables; the courtyard was a bit chilly. Otherwise, everything went smoothly.

Glad to have finally made it out!
What did you like best about the event?
The meeting area was easy to navigate. Everything was super timely—plenty of staff.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Some snacks in the VIP area would have gone a long way as I frequently spent 15-20 minutes there waiting for a meeting.

It was great to attend an interesting set of talks and panels and catch up with some industry connections.
What did you like best about the event?
The VIP area for the speakers is a real highlight. It's nice to be able to go somewhere quiet and relax, as well as catch up on work between appointments.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
It would be good if there were more quiet spaces for the attendees. At the moment, it feels like you only have access if you're a speaker.
