The scale conference this year was amazing because we didn't have it last year. And that was a great opportunity to see everyone again. Be able to learn more and share experience with everyone. Thank you for putting this conference together and looking forward to see everybody again next year.

Scale is always a great event with plenty of relevant exhibitors and very relevant sessions and panels. So it was good to catch up with industry peers there and discuss like the latest technologies and happenings.

I enjoyed speaking to a friendly and engaged audience
What did you like best about the event?
Attendees were engaged, authentic, and interested in learning about the subject I was presenting (Chaos Engineering)
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The only thing I feel could have been improved was the promotion of the live streaming to the online audience.

Great way to connect with others who are passionate about open source.
What did you like best about the event?
Reconnecting with other attendees that I have seen in 2+ years (due to the Pandemic).
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The neighborhood around LAX is pretty depressing. Look forward to returning to Pasadena.

Enjoyed the presentation and talking to engineers and administrators.
What did you like best about the event?
Just being able to present live in front of a substantial group of people. The questions and hallway conversations were great. Scale always has a vibrant crowd.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Move back to move of a conference center. The exhibition hall in different halls and in different rooms was difficult to navigate.

Many sessions all over the place
What did you like best about the event?
The location was great! Fly in to LAX, free shuttle to hotel and back. Awesome! No need to rent a car or anything. Happy to see vaccine status as a requirement; pissed off that nobody was enforcing masks despite signage everywhere. Even hotel staff were unmasked.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
* If you're going to make a rule, then enforce it. Why bother with a rule otherwise? * How were you supposed to get tickets for drink night? Never explained. * I was a registered speaker, yet my account was not in the system. Others have a similar issue. How can an "IT conference" have so many IT issues? God the Wi-Fi was atrocious as well. The K8S tutorial had 30 attendees all trying to download 600MB docker images at the same time. wtf?! Who does that?

Another great scale event with a good variety of vendors and interesting talks.
What did you like best about the event?
I really liked having the event in the same building as the hotel. That alone was very convenient.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would like to see all of the vendor booths back in a single room. It wasn't really inconvenient walking across the hall, but it did add a sense of separation to the vendors.

Scale 19 was a lot of fun. There was a good mixture and a wide variety of vendors there. And I believe that a lot of different types of technology were covered. The talks were great and there was a good group of people all in, all looking forward to next year's event.

I went for scale18x 2 years ago, I love this conference
What did you like best about the event?
Most of the people attending this event are tech professionals, there are not many marketing/sales at this event which is good
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I can't think of anything to make it better, they should hold the conference at another airport hotel, Hilton had terrible Wi-Fi

What did you like best about the event?
It was a great time to reconnect with my colleagues. The Postgres track was a highlight for me.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Uh, I can't think of anything, that Pasadena had more places to eat outside of the venue.

Met some good people from lots of companies.
What did you like best about the event?
Meeting new people led to great conversations about tech and Linux. It was a different crowd than at many events.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Perhaps consider a non-weekend event. It was quite exhausting having to work after the week.

Rewarding.
What did you like best about the event?
Lots of interesting talks. The subjects are diverse and the quality of the speakers is great (all but one, of course ;) )
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The location, this time, offered a few things to do outside the hotel. While the hotel was not bad, it was not nice enough to stay there the whole day.

What did you like best about the event?
The vendor booths. All my current open source and hardware vendors were in attendance.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The speaker's support and organization need improvement. Maybe someone assigned to each speaker to ensure they have everything they need or at least a point of contact.
