I attended WACV, both as an author and representing a company Kitware in our booth as part of the Expo. I've been to WACV several times before, and I think this one went well. The crowd was obviously quite a bit larger. At first, we weren't particularly excited about being in a different room for the booths, but I think having the food in that room brought people in and got the kind of traffic to our booth that we were hoping for something was successful in it.

Amazing Experience in Hawaii!!
What did you like best about the event?
Great setting, friendly staff, always accommodating. Events always run smoothly with your organizers.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More corporate attendees. While it's inevitable to encounter students, I need more corporate attendees to justify sponsoring your event.

It is a good venue to gain a quick understanding of the computer vision landscape.
What did you like best about the event?
The size was not too big or too small. Perhaps maintain it for future ones, too.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The review process before the conference. Some reviews are not responsible at all.

I attended both the oral and poster sessions, as well as the tutorials and the workshops. The quality was very good; I started a few collaborations that will result in publications.
What did you like best about the event?
I had the opportunity to engage in productive discussions, clarify doubts, and develop new ideas about novel applications of the models presented on my new datasets.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The event was organized very well. During the oral sessions, it would be great to allow questions from the audience first, and then, if there is no time, additional questions can be written on Slido.

The workshop on PAD and demographics was held on the last day—all the keynote talks during the leading conference. The tutorial from Georgia Tech on Sunday was great.

I attended as both an author of a conference paper and as a representative of Kitware, one of the event sponsors and expo booth presenter.
What did you like best about the event?
As always, WACV brings together researchers working on similar areas of computer vision. The destination was also very nice, even though the conference has been there several years in a row.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I wasn't a huge fan of the single-track, curated orals used to structure the program this time. My experience as an AC has been that WACV reviews are fairly noisy and don't provide enough signal to separate good papers for orals from those that just got higher reviews.

Nice remote experience at WACV 2024.
What did you like best about the event?
It was good to have the opportunity to attend remotely (although I must say that remote participants did not have many chances to network, and some of the talks' recordings were not available after the scheduled time).
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The scheduled time and place of the venue was not optimal. In-person presence was way too expensive.
