"The best conference!"

We are Developers continually hosts an amazing conference. I have to especially highlight how wonderful they are to speakers. Every year it feels accommodating, friendly and great. I can only speak for myself, but it’s a pleasure to come year after year.

Code100 competition was great, and I also liked the general atmosphere. Also, NVIDIA had a lot of interesting talks.

As a neurodivergent person, I found fantastic the idea of wearing headphones during the talks. It masked all the distracting noises and made the event more exciting and easy to follow.

It was a pleasure to speak at this event and more than that to be able to attend some of the incredible sessions that were happening by some of the most prominent leaders in the industry and some that are not known but have amazing things to say as well. I'm glad I was there and I'm looking forward to the next one.

I really enjoyed going to this crazy event. It is so big and offers something for every kind of developer. No matter if you like to visit sessions, just walk across the expo area or network at the after-event program. So that's really something for everybody.

Widely varied topics with something for everyone.
What did you like best about the event?
Getting to meet people from so many countries, so many different companies, so many different specialities and interests, but discovering that under the skin we're all developers.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Most of the sessions I attended, apart from those on the main stage were overbooked. Bigger rooms for pretty much all sessions would be appreciated. I gave up on several when I found myself ten rows back in the standing room only section.

Poor offering for exhibiting startups
What did you like best about the event?
The possibility to connect with other builders and a variety of exhibiting companies.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The startup offering was poor value for money. The dedicated space was very much off the beaten path resulting in very low foot traffic. The startup pitch stage was on the sidelines of the event. There wasn't a pitch competition.

Attending WeAreDevelopers Congress in Berlin was an inspiring and energizing experience!
What did you like best about the event?
The high-quality talks and the chance to connect with fellow tech professionals from around the world really stood out.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Providing more seating and clearer signage between tracks would help with navigating the venue more smoothly.

My experience was largely excellent this year.
What did you like best about the event?
The WeAreDevelopers World Congress seems to be a globally unique developer conference with an extremely high signal/noise ratio, significant scale, and a strong community vibe.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Two things I would like to share as constructive feedback are: 1. For my 30-minute talk, when I started the timer had already counted down to ~26 minutes remaining, which made me a bit anxious about staying on time. 2. For the workshops my company ran, they were fully booked (60 people) in the event app, but only about 20-30 people showed up. It would be great if the signup process was improved so that more people who register actually attend and other people who are interested are not discouraged from attending by the waitlist.

Mainly good
What did you like best about the event?
The choice and subject variety of speaker sessions were impressive. We were a team with several areas, all covered.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Free coffee and water. Basics should be free regarding the price of tickets. Or at least low cost.

Owner and director of the company
What did you like best about the event?
Everything was well organized. All the speaker sessions were good.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Organizers should extend sessions to 40 minutes. Create a mobile app that has the program schedule for the event. Also, I got lost finding the stage. An interactive mobile app can help direct me to the stage. So, consider creating a venue map which is interactive and easy-to-use. More water bottles needed. Arrange same topics in the same stages or close so that we wouldn't have to walk so much.

I truly enjoyed the conference, gaining a lot from the workshops and making many new connections.
What did you like best about the event?
The conference was a resounding success, highlighted by the engaging workshops that provided valuable insights, the opportunity to network with numerous new professionals, and the chance to enjoy quality time with my fantastic team.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
1. Scale up the application so it does not fail when workshop booking is open. 2. Make QR codes bigger so it is easier to scan 3. More interesting talks. Too much AI.

Really enjoyed giving my talk and audience was packed.
What did you like best about the event?
Full audience with good questions and excellent AV support. Great lighting and stage setup.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Unfortunately, there was some confusion over time, and my introducer signaled me to stop 5 min early so I was unable to finish my presentation.

Feeling the Vibe and the family of fellow techies and coding nerds made me love my job again.
What did you like best about the event?
The small talks between the panels, the overall energy around and ending the day with karaoke.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Especially, the QR Code reading feature of the event app worked quite bad. This was because of the black white corners of the event pass that led to the issue. The second thing where the food and drink pricings which where, relatively to the ticket price, extremely high. (15 Euro for an extremely thin pizza or 10 Euro for a long drink is too much).

A must-attend for tech professionals!
What did you like best about the event?
The event was really well organized. There were amazing speakers, companies showcase in their products had interactive and very well presented booths, and there were plenty of recruiters around looking for talent.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I understand there is a lot of buzz around it, but it felt like 99% of the talks were about AI - including mine. And I feel like myself in the audience were quite relieved when we found one that wasn't completely AI focused. On top of that, the schedule is also problematic: a lot of non-tech (leadership, product etc.) talks happened simultaneously, so someone like myself who is not a coder found gaps with no sessions to attend, and other times 3 sessions of interest happening at the same time. :-( There was a shortage of headphones in some of the stages that were noisy like stage 10. Also, the attendance on Friday was very low, maybe reconsider having the event on different weekdays.

As a neurodivergent person, I found fantastic the idea of wearing headphones during the talks. It masked all the distracting noises and made the event more exciting and easy to follow.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
1. A 3-day event (or four) to allow us to visit more booths and their demonstrations, while having more time to listen to more speakers. 2. More toilets: The ones we had were not enough, and some floors required the person to go a level up/down and that consumed too much time. Add some mobile toilets in each of the food areas to mitigate that. 3 More water stations: it is a nice thing to have, but if we could have more of them, it would make the lines less congested. 4 - More QA and Automation talks, because that is a very important topic and we never have enough. 5 - Add a Cosplay event to spice up things. 6- RESTING AREA with RETRO GAMES for people to seat, chill and have fun. 7- John Romero and Johana Pirker together on the main stage.

Great experience. I would come eagain
What did you like best about the event?
Code100 competition was great, and I also liked the general atmosphere. Also, NVIDIA had a lot of interesting talks.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Some talks needed bigger stages as it was crammed, and people couldn't get headphones, while other talks were mostly empty. Practical talks usually had higher attendance. Also, it would help to have more places and opportunities for business as it was mostly limited to "Tech leads" space, where a lot of people didn't have access.
