I had been told that the conference was smaller than it had been in previous iterations. And that I should try, you know, trans in Berlin instead if I wanted to be, like, really impressed with public transportation conferences. Although generally I found the experience to be pretty pleasant. I I would go back three years from now.

It had a great expo layout, and it was amazing to connect with industry leaders.
What did you like best about the event?
The quality of exhibitors was amazing, and the show was very easy to navigate. I truly enjoyed it.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The only recommendation would be regarding segmenting industries on the app to make it easier to find specific vendors.

The event was a great networking experience, providing access to many customers and suppliers.
What did you like best about the event?
The ability to interact with people from all over the industry in person. The event allowed us to learn more about different products, meet with suppliers, and engage customers about our offerings at our booth.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I felt I got the most out of this APTA Expo than any previous events. The setup and show floor were really great. The learning zone topics offered really good insight into the state of the industry.

Great experience as an exhibitor
What did you like best about the event?
We had a lot of great conversations with several people from different transit agencies from across the US and Canada. The handheld badge scanner is a must!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The major exhibitors were consolidated into one area of the expo floor, limiting traffic to some areas. Our booth was right on the edge of where the traffic was less, and we heard from a few displeased vendors that they had half the traffic we had.

Booth map was a labyrinth, and there wasn't even David bowie singing anywhere to keep up my spirits.

Coordinate better with local/state conferences. It seems that some agencies didn't attend because other conferences at the state level were happening around the same time, i.e., NYPTA, Midwest, Southwest, etc.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?
While I did not utilize the shuttle services since I live locally, I do feel the timing of the operation of the shuttles was off--should have been available earlier and later. The midday stoppage was sufficient.
