Networking & Sessions were great - will be back next year!
What did you like best about the event?
Networking and the 30-minute sessions GS1 conference were a terrific way to network & learn more about GS1 and GSDNI really liked the 30-minute session tracks and discussions where Ai learned so much about how the industry is using GDSN. Great conference and I plan to attend next year!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Better signage of times & location rooms/areas of each session - It was hard to determine session locations
Did you have a favourite speaker or session? Please tell us below
The general session speakers were great. I also enjoyed the 'Contactless Delivery Options w/ Digitized Data" a fascinating story of how Coke eliminated paperwork & truck driver wait times using GDSN technology.

A highly anticipated return to GS1 Connect and the ability to network with retailers and suppliers.
What did you like best about the event?
In person, events provide the greatest opportunity to discuss changes and opportunities with others. I get to learn what others are doing, how they are approaching problems, and new regulations. I get an opportunity to meet with many of our suppliers, learn from them, and answer their questions about our direction.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Our session was pre-recorded. However, I am not a fan of virtual sessions, as they do not permit interaction with the audience. Also, I am unaware of the number of people that watched it and unaware of any feedback. If someone is to attend a session for all available time slots, their schedule will be quite full, which leaves little opportunity to meet with the exhibitors. Recommend that exhibitors pre-record a 10 minute video that attendees can view prior to attending. This would provide some information about the exhibitor for attendees prior to arriving at the conference.

I participated primarily as a speaker.
What did you like best about the event?
GS1 Connect is a very good forum to stay informed on GS1 standards. It is also a great forum to interact with others in the industry.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Hmmm. The most obvious change would be to get more in-person attendees, but this is a Covid challenge and not something GS1 can control.

Great Networking & Sharing of Best Practices
What did you like best about the event?
I enjoyed the diversity of attendees from all sorts of organizations, large and small, across all sectors. There were some great, interesting sessions relevant to my business.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would have appreciated a bit more COVID precautions, although this event was better than some others I have attended recently.
