The World Passenger Festival is a unique event attracting global public transport operators to discuss the transformative era of mobility. The 2022 conference is bringing transport leaders together to discuss the technologies, strategies and opportunities which can encourage a return to public and shared transport usage.

Focused on commercial and customer facing areas, World Passenger Festival will bring together international leaders to discuss critical areas of development across revenue management, digital, ticketing, integrated mobility, distribution, customer experience, payments and digital sales, as well as industry wide trends and challenges. Over three days, the conference will feature 250 speakers from the world’s largest public transport operators and their partners who will share their vision, insights & lessons learnt. Additionally, it will build in plenty of time for networking and meeting others who can help you reach your goals.

This was a really useful conference to attend for me. I'm normally involved in the politics of railway transport, not the technicalities of ticketing. So therefore I learned a lot. It helped me fill in some of the gaps in my knowledge. The atmosphere was also extremely positive, very friendly, very open and very well run. So I'm very, very content overall.

Overall, the event was really good. There were some interesting speakers and some good networking opportunities. But from a company that was part of the startup Innovation Zone, there should be some improvements made there because the the zone was very unattractive. A lot of the companies didn't have a place that was visible for people passing by and also the location where the startups were able to do their pitches was very secluded. So that should be something that needs to be looked at for the next event.

Too much advertisement, too little content.
What did you like best about the event?
To be honest, I liked the Amsterdam event better. Better PT connectivity to the site. And non-included lunches!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Focus on content over selling stands or speaking slots. The number of tracks was simply too high, creating fragmentation.

What did you like best about the event?
Good venue and decision makers were present at the conference, which made the floor conversations high quality.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The food was awful, truly terrible. Increase the price and provide something better than stale sandwiches and wilted salads for €12.

Still my favorite conference. The right people at a great event.
What did you like best about the event?
Great quality of other speakers and delegates. Great location and layout. Superb networking event.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Catering was a disaster as the credit card machines often did not work. I don't carry cash anymore, so I had to leave the venue to find food.

It is a great opportunity to hear what others are developing, implementing, and how the process works. Also, it is great to be able to reengage with old contacts and develop new network points.
What did you like best about the event?
The networking, with a large variety of companies available to speak to. Also, very interesting topics are being discussed by panels.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Just keep growing the number of Companies who display and attend the event and keep the topics interesting to make it worthwhile returning year after year.
