"Great networking experience"

The Disney keynote was the highlight for me; I'm sure that's a common opinion. I also liked the Mass Robotics accelerator startup pitch session. RSE is a great networking event, and I appreciate that it's local for me.

"Good connections"

It was great to meet so many other companies solving problems with robotics. I have since been in contact with many of the connections I made there.

Robotic Summit was an amazing gathering of the east coast mechatronic companies. I thought it was well curated, well attended. Maybe a suggestion could be to add more opportunities for greater networking, breakfast, lunch cocktails, that sort of thing, or in between sessions because it was very spread out. And that's it.

It was a great event to connect with people in the robotics industry. And it will help you to know about products and what is going on in the industry, the state of the art technologies from all over the world.

Good Leads put the beer out later
What did you like best about the event?
As an exhibitor, the quality of leads were excellent which was the purpose of being there.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
On day 2 there were 2 presentations almost back to back, the little time between the presentations attendees were getting food or checking their phones. There should be more time between presentations so that the attendees will walk the float.

Great networking opportunity
What did you like best about the event?
I liked getting to see old colleagues and friends in the industry, plus meet new people working on the latest robotics challenges.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
As a more technically-focused person, I try to avoid people who show up and try to pitch unrelated technologies to engineers. While I think it's important to have a healthy mix of sales and technical people, maybe there should be some guidelines around sales pitches to respect individuals' boundaries.

Some high level thoughts
What did you like best about the event?
The quality of attendees and breadth of companies attending, I think it could have great depth in logistics and manufacturing.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
As mentioned above, a wider offering of all the verticals where robots are currently deployed.

Great event with strong number of leads collected and high attendance to our presentation
What did you like best about the event?
Increased number of attendances with high energy at social events as well. Key note speakers were very engaging.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Scanning badges for entering presentations so leads can be shared. Invite food trucks to be stationed outside the hall for better food and hanging outside.

Good connections
What did you like best about the event?
It was great to meet so many other companies solving problems with robotics. I have since been in contact with many of the connections I made there.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Free coffee in more places would be nice. I think there was only free coffee for the speakers, so I did get some, but for attendees it would be nice.

Great networking experience

What could the organizers do to improve the event?
RSE needs more, better, deeper technical sessions to get to the next level. (I hope I contributed on this front!). This is a tricky needle to thread: RSE isn't and shouldn't be an academic research conference. As an industry-focused conference, many of the target attendees are legitimately hesitant to share anything of real value for fear of letting go of a competitive advantage. But especially for engineers responsible for technical execution, "I learned about X technology/technique that I think we can use to improve our product/development" is much better justification for attendance than just "I met cool people in the field and saw cool robots". That said, I didn't leave enough time to spend in the exhibition hall, which is my bad. Like most conferences, RSE is expensive if you're paying full price. I know WTWH has to cover costs and make money, but I wish the barriers to entry were lower.
