"Lots of productive and candid conversations with an event still finding it's feet - it's only the beginning"

Business focused conversations with attendees given space to have these conversations in a variety of environments. I think this allowed people to be more open in speaking about certain things rather than being coy and guarded. For example one of the round tables on YouTube monetization was very candid and straight to the point, or one of the speakers about engagement with Social Media had some pretty blunt moments in it. Which I want to see more of. As an industry professional, I don't want to hear something I can read in the trades, but the guts behind it. We are all vetted and trusted enough to have these conversations, and I think this event was more towards that attitude than other conferences and marketplaces I've attended.

"MIP London was a completely satisfying and stimulating week of business."

Connecting with colleagues plus making new connections. London made it practical to do other non-conference related meetings. Plus it was a gorgeous week in London.

Highly attended conferences, poor buyer showings!
What did you like best about the event?
Easy access to the London screenings, and good conferences because of interesting people like Shapiro.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Open the conference to the new markets that are opening for content, the traditional exhibition business by Free and Pay TV is decaying and so is their purchasing power.

What did you like best about the event?
Connecting with colleagues plus making new connections. London made it practical to do other non-conference related meetings. Plus it was a gorgeous week in London.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The obvious of how to improve logistics/reasons of running around to other meetings in London for those who did not spend money to register.

The WIT presentation was fun, mainly for the energy from crowd reacting to the bizarre array of what was on screen.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The two venue setting was incredible confusing, and the talk spaces were too small or too large. Needs to find a better venue which is more conducive for small meetings everywhere, whilst flowing into talks. The people around were helpful and very friendly, and so with more of that helping some people who aren't used to relying on technology needs more consideration.

What did you like best about the event?
Networking opportunities, sessions/panels, free water/coffee, location of market
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Make sure London Screenings attendees are able to schedule meetings and make sure there is enough time to present new titles. So, maybe move the event to spring.
