It was fantastic - the content of the sessions was particularly memorable!
What did you like best about the event?
All of the time for networking with others in the industry. I was glad we were able to have time between sessions to roam The District and connect with people I would never have met otherwise.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would recommend adding more seating for the lunches as eating most of the food provided while standing was quite difficult. I usually went into one of the meeting rooms to sit and eat because there was no space elsewhere.

My favorite session was the one I attended on Risk Management, as that is the one where I learned the most.

This year's experience was engaging, educational, and inspiring.
What did you like best about the event?
The opening General Session, where the two speakers discussed A.I., was informative and honest—not telling us "not to fear" but instead encouraging us to engage.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The opening reception could have been at a smaller venue. The park was just too massive to find people and engage. Also, because it was outdoors, the food stations were mostly cold food by the time you got there. What to do better . . . make the venue "fit" the audience and attendee count.
Did you have a favourite speaker or session? Please tell us below
The gentleman who zoomed in from Asia. There was just this sense of genuineness because his role was not as a professional speaker but more as a "Master Level" professor. You know, one that you loved to attend his class.

A fantastic celebration of the Meetings Industry with great networking, inspiration, and creativity showing us what's possible!
What did you like best about the event?
San Diego rolled out the red carpet! The opening and closing parties were terrific! I also loved the District and general sessions.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Didn't love the 45-minute ed sessions? You should offer some deeper dive sessions.

It was a great event to connect with colleagues and friends from afar in a beautiful city.
What did you like best about the event?
I really like the feeling of community at the event and the Clintons. Holly is always excellent, but maybe it's time for a new emcee.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
We have to be better with accessibility and more people with disabilities speaking of their experience. It is definitely better than prior years, but there is still a lot of work to go.

I enjoyed getting to network and learn from professionals in the industry.
What did you like best about the event?
I really enjoyed the District and interacting with all the different professionals. I also really liked the ease and structure of the app.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would recommend doing fewer panels. I felt like many of the sessions I went to would've been better if the presenters weren't limited to the format and structure of a panel but instead did a keynote presentation. For example, I think Mayim Bialik had so much insight and knowledge to offer but was VERY limited due to just the questions she was asked, and she could've offered so much more if she could've presented typically. I also think the breakfast could've been each day. Or I wish a heads up that it was just going to be a light continental breakfast would've been appreciated.

Mo Gawdat was phenomenal, and I wish he could've presented for a full hour. I also really enjoyed the event threat session.

It was great work to work with and collaborate with other event planners.
What did you like best about the event?
The "how to have difficult conversations" session. She went into great detail, and the whole team sat in on her session, which was great.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Find more breakout sessions that are relevant to event planners. A lot were not related to event planners.

Networking opportunities were endless.
What did you like best about the event?
The opening and closing receptions were spectacular. Especially that finale - so impressive. I also loved the keynotes.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Consider one plated meal and find a bigger venue for a party with a purpose. Otherwise, it is really well done.

Glad I went, but had some issues.
What did you like best about the event?
The District was well laid out, and I felt cool going into each booth. Lots of good items were given at the different booths. I liked that everything took place at the convention center.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I wish hosted buyers could arrive one day before the lunch and meetings. I had to go right from the airport to the lunch to make it on time (but was still late) and then did not make it to my room to even get a chance to freshen up till 5 pm. Then, I had to go to reception and SeaWorld; I did not get to enjoy the welcome reception as I was so tired. Allowing flexibility when your buyers need to travel across the country would be great. More food selections. It felt like there were not many options for the different meals. If you wanted something gluten-free or vegan, there were not many or any options. At breakfast, I tried to find other options, but because I did not have to eat that way, there weren't any alternatives. I also could never find pop or water on the tradeshow floor. The water from the drinking fountains was warm, but nowhere to get ice was annoying. The conversation starter segments were not a good use of time. I sat in on one, and it was just people arguing about if people should suggest to others that they should go to therapy. Some panels also took too long to get into the content, and they spent too much time talking about themselves. It felt like I wasn't learning anything.

The sessions were informative and thought-provoking. The connections with industry peers and vendors are invaluable.
What did you like best about the event?
The education content. I attended many general sessions education sessions that provided me with industry insight and forecasts to look forward to.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Less generic keynotes. Some were great, some were just typical headliners, and those did not convey relevant information about our industry.

Boyz II Men...A, B, C, BBD! :)
What did you like best about the event?
The District (exhibit hall/vendors) was awesome. From the layout to the vendors and the activations, it was such a great overall experience! The booths themselves were cool and eye-catching. I also really enjoyed Sea World as well as the closing reception! You can't go wrong with Boyz II Men!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Have more cocktail tables in The District and as small trays or something to help with all the small plates at the stations.
