Overall good, many small imperfections
What did you like best about the event?
The venue was very nicely located almost in the city center, that provided good transport availability. Besides this, the first-day workshop speakers were amazing.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
1. Navigation across the event site wasn’t the best. It was hard to find needed halls. Direction signs were placed close to the directed locations, but at the main entrances, there were no indications of exhibition sites or lecture halls. 2. Security at the main entrance made a huge jam on the last day of the conference when many people came to the venue with their baggage. 3. Location of poster areas at the exhibition site was not good - poster area was split into four zones located in the opposite corners of the exhibition area - it was time and energy consuming to visit them all, plus again it was hard to find needed poster area, cause signed were placed only close to the posters themselves, but not at the entrance. 4. There were very few places to sit.

Extremely insightful sessions, great networking, and poster sessions!
What did you like best about the event?
I greatly enjoyed the sharing spirit at the event and the possibility to interact with academics and companies during the poster sessions.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I really enjoyed the organization. I would increase the neurodegeneration-related sessions and maybe include more biophysics talks.

This was a rich and intense experience, meeting all these researchers, reading so many posters, attending so many lectures, it was a very interesting and exciting and promising meeting for future research !
What did you like best about the event?
The lectures were very interesting !! Most of the speakers were really good at conveying their message despite not the audience not being full of experts ! I also really liked meeting them even though I was a bit timid about that.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
For the networking events, put in clear that you have to register, I got lucky enough to attend the networking session NE03 but several others could not. Also if possible choose a bigger area to do the networking events.

The conference was well structured and well organized. To host more than 6000 scientists onsite right after a pandemic was challenging enough, but the organizers stood upto the challenge and managed to bring talent, art, music and science together to create a festive environment to celebrate neuroscience.
What did you like best about the event?
The opening ceremony was incredible. The organization of the booths and the information provided were great
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The talks could be spaced out a little more so that it becomes a little easier to attend more sessions.

I was exposed to a more diverse field of neuroscience than I ever even knew existed.
What did you like best about the event?
The combination of talks, debates, and networking events just how varied all the formats were.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I know one event turned loads of people away because they reached capacity. Even some friends of mine who registered weren’t allowed in. Probably good to sort those things out.

The symposium hosted by Bianca Jones Marlin on epigenetics was incredible. As was the AI debate on the first day.
