About MIT Platform Strategy Summit 2022

The MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy is excited to announce this inaugural 1/2 day event leading into the 10th Annual MIT Platform Strategy Summit the following day, on July 14. Through several feature keynotes and panel sessions involving industry experts, this event is designed to explore how digital health platforms are key enablers of transformation in healthcare.

It was a great inaugural event. Good content, very good speaker lineup, well produced, good attendance.
What did you like best about the event?
It was platform-specific business topics within a healthcare context. We need more of this.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Hopefully cast the net a bit broader, market a bit more, and draw a larger attendance. That's it - it was a very good conference

What did you like best about the event?
Interesting speakers presenting on topics relevant to my profession. Easy to log into.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More topics in healthcare and innovations in data analytics. some of the topics weren't relevant to me and not easy to determine when to log in to the ones that were.

The informative event that provided a high-level summary of the state of platforms in healthcare and provided a chance to network and interacts with various speakers & attendees
What did you like best about the event?
The chance to network with speakers and attendees in-person, especially after 2 years of COVID hampering the ability to meet in person.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Adding more perspectives including directly from providers and insurers as well as the big tech players (e.g., Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce) who are making significant inroads into health IT.
Did you have a favourite speaker or session? Please tell us below
Jonathan Bush was a great keynote. Always entertaining to hear him speak. The panel which featured the views on interoperability as well as the value of data from EHRs was interesting as well.
