About 18th World Congress of Anaesthesiologists 2024

With representation from more than 130 countries, the WCA is the only international congress that offers a comprehensive programme that addresses anaesthesiology globally. Additionally, WCA provides training and education opportunities that drive conversations, deepen collaboration and accelerate the promotion of science, networking, and knowledge share across the spectrum of anaesthesiology.

The WCA2024 is the 18th World Congress of Anaesthesiologists, taking place in Singapore from 3 – 7 March 2024. The WCA2024 Congress will be the first WCA Congress to be held in person since 2016, and we look forward to the warmth of personal exchange with new and familiar members.

It's nice to meet people in person on a global scale.
What did you like best about the event?
Variety was key, including the lectures. The industry exhibition was relatively small, though.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Prevent scamming. My hotel reservation was fraudulent. I was left scrambling to find a new solution without help.

Great experience
What did you like best about the event?
Networking with colleagues from around the world. The organization's support at the event was excellent for the speakers and chairs.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
There were greater gaps between some sessions - some were back-to-back, which made the transition difficult.

It was an excellent meeting. It was well organized and covered lots of interesting topics.
What did you like best about the event?
Multi-national with high-level speakers. This conference is better that the ESAIC or ASA, I believe.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would not change much, maybe more « Out of the box » speakers from low-income countries.

The World Congress in Singapore was a fabulous educational event.
What did you like best about the event?
The range of topics presented was excellent, and the meeting organization was superb.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Keep it the way it is! My only minor suggestion would be to have more chairs around the lobbies as places to relax and chat.

It was a fantastic conference - truly global.
What did you like best about the event?
The conference had great networking, was truly inclusive, and had a global feel. The Harold Griffith lectures were outstanding.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Singapore is too expensive for many who want to attend, so I think this is a vital consideration for future venues.

There is nothing I can suggest. It was well organized and broadcasted, and glitches with technical support were to be expected with such a large event.
