Variety and focus all at once
What did you like best about the event?
The variety of exhibitors and speakers/topics was made manageable e.g., themed speaker zones.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Reduce the background noise. Those of us attending to listen to or provide talks were routinely drowned out by the DJ.

Full of buzz and very informative.
What did you like best about the event?
The range of panel discussions, explicit engagement with diversity, women in construction.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Better acoustics for the panel discussions, which I know isn't easy! Otherwise, it was very well organized and not an easy event to nail!

We were exhibiting, and we did get some good leads, we believe. However, we could have tripled/quadrupled traffic just by being on the other side of our wall. So I think some thought went into making sure foot traffic is spread between all booths; we've all spent good money. Maybe arrows on the floor to encourage a flow?
What did you like best about the event?
It was a good audience. There were definitely relevant attendees. I just would have liked to have seen more of them.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Distribute foot traffic better and more evenly between stands. We could have tripled our leads just being on the other side of the back wall of our stand.

Really good event. I will go again, but maybe I will choose an earlier speaking slot.
What did you like best about the event?
Lots on offer to see, do, and engage with people, innovation, and products. In the future, though I think I would better cluster the stands into a 'Digital sector', 'Carbon Sector', 'Well being Sector' like the Crystal maze :-)
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
My speaker slot was from 1700 to 1730, which was crammed into the end. Immediately following our slot, security started to usher people out. I suggest you leave the 1700+ slots empty for people to mingle and enjoy the last half an hour wandering, etc, not at a 'talk.'

A pleasant visit to the Building show.
What did you like best about the event?
I liked the location, networking, and exhibitors. A wide choice of different materials and services. Very good and positive atmosphere.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Catering should be cheaper, and opening hours longer. It would be great to have even more exhibitors.
