Chicago Build is a pretty exciting event taking place at mccormick Place. Great vendors there with new products that you can see get samples of. So that was, that was pretty nice aspect of the event. Also, the speaking panels had really good speakers from practices around Chicago. So a really good event if you're in the construction industry in the Chicago area.

I love the panels, speaking events, and networking sessions - they're the reason I attend every year and will continue to!
What did you like best about the event?
Panels, Speaking Events, Networking Sessions - you always get a great group of speakers, and that is the reason I attend. Keep getting those high-level speakers - they are really engaging and highly valued!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Better sound - sometimes really hard to hear if you are on stage (hearing the rest of the panel) and in the audience. Also, if you had more room for large networking gatherings, it would be easier to attend/listen/network - right now, it's just a pile of people squeezed into one space, making it difficult to do any of those things as is right now.

Lively Discussion on the State of the Office Market and Implications on the Economy.
What did you like best about the event?
The range of viewpoints is shared from both a broker's perspective and a research professional's perspective.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The acoustics were poor. There was quite a bit of background noise, with music playing nearby and individuals ambulating throughout the lack of space within the Javits Center. I would have preferred the panel to be held in an enclosed room with no distractions, making it easier to hear each of us panelists.

What a wild experience. From Sinatra to Lady Liberty, garbage dumpsters to geothermal, and all the incredible speakers, NY Build had it all.
What did you like best about the event?
The energy is impossible to ignore. While speaking, you could feel the energy around you, and like we were street performers, I would watch people walk by a session, get engaged, and stick around for the remainder. You don't get that when the speakers are locked away in different rooms.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
As a speaker, clearer directions would be more helpful. We knew who we were speaking with, but there was no real direction from the NY Build staff on the meet-and-greet prep call. We were confused about who should be the moderator. More context besides the session title could have been helpful to direct the talk where the intent was supposed to be.

This was, as always, a high-power expo—lots of exhibitors and many interesting sessions.
What did you like best about the event?
I enjoyed the variety of exhibitors and sessions. The Javits is also the perfect venue for such an event.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I would have liked to see a stronger focus on sustainability, both in materials and the sessions. I don't remember noticing a sustainability track stage this time.

Good experience. Good people and business opportunities.
What did you like best about the event?
Positive energy. It is great to see today's tech advancements. We needed more networking events and gatherings.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More for our money. I consult and can advise for a fee. There are lots of missed opportunities.
