About 20th Annual Winter Forum On Real Estate Opportunity & Private Fund Investing 2024

Significant shifts are happening in commercial real estate (CRE). With the protracted cycle the CRE industry is in uncharted territory. Is this is a fundamental shift? Does early/mid/late-cycle investing need to be re-evaluated? With geo-political risk, tax reform and other critical industry disruptors that are causing or have the potential to cause major change across asset classes, where are we headed? How in turn does this impact deal flow, valuations, large fund dominance in fundraising, the availability and cost of capital, etc., etc., etc.?

As some investment opportunities recede, what others are rising to take their place? What are the innovative investment strategies that early adopters are already reaping the rewards from?

Tacking these fundamental issues and this year proud to celebrate its 20th year serving this community, IMN is excited to once again host the largest event of its kind on the West Coast and look forward to hosting you at the Montage Laguna Beach to kick off another great year for the industry.

As usual, the imn private fund investing conference was a, was a huge success. I thought it's always great to get sponsors and investors together. I have clients on both sides of the spectrand thought they thought I was very productive. The venue is always amazing and I thought a lot of the panels were, were really informative this year and had great industry professional speaking. So overall, another successful conference, I think it's my fifth in a row and, and always enjoy it.

Thank you IMN team for the Fabulous conference. It's one of my favorite events and of course, the location is spectacular. But I look forward to next year's conference and would love to attend the one in Rhode Island. I've met such profound people that I've connected with. And also I got Amper which is from Eisner Am's dog puppy adoption moment, which was so cool. You will see Amper with us and the future I am in events. Thank you.

This was my first time attending the event, and I thought it was an excellent platform to generate new business and foster relationships with existing clients.
What did you like best about the event?
I enjoyed the quality of the attendees and the easy and consistent interaction with event organizers leading up to the conference.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
It would be nice to have more informal networking events incorporated into the event. While it was nice to interact with existing clients in firm-sponsored private events, the numerous private events interfered with the ability to generate new contacts.

The venue is the best part of the event - not just the location but also the way the conference is structured on the grounds, with additional networking opportunities outdoors.

The best family office event ever.
What did you like best about the event?
Intimacy and on-point topics with what's happening in the market for different sectors.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Keep it how it was before...the size and finance folks and sponsors only vs. having outside vendors unless they are exhibiting.
