About Metaverse Safety Week 2022

The Metaverse Safety Week (MSW 2022) is an international community effort, a safety awareness campaign, led by the XR Safety Initiative(XRSI), featuring industry leaders from around the world at a week-long conference inside an exclusively created Virtual World.

The 3rd annual Metaverse Safety Week, we celebrate the opportunities to create a better and safer Metaverse for all, spreading awareness and promoting policies, guidelines, and research. We explore core issues related to the Metaverse through art, panels, debates, and workshops, bringing global perspectives to advance our shared ecosystem.

It's an experience that attracts multidisciplinary talent to address the risks and opportunities that come along with the next iteration of the Internet, the Metaverse. An opportunity to meet the international speakers and participants including lawmakers, regulators, technology leaders of international organizations, EU/US/UN officials, civil society representatives, business executives, and more in an exclusive online Virtual World.

My check. So, yeah, I believe that the event was well structured. logging in was easy and navigation was easy going to. the event space was great. I think one of the things I got confused about was the timing, um, as against, you know, the time that the event space was open versus the time that the event was actually going to start. But other than that, everything was simple and straightforward. Yeah. So, Kudos Kudos city organizers, I enjoyed that experience and definitely gonna attend more. Yeah.

Good content but not flexible
What did you like best about the event?
The subject matter, content and speakers were all relevant. I would like more on the safety of AR.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Have it recorded so that west coast attendees can listen to all panels. For some reason, it did not give me a link to my calendar, so I had to dig around to figure out how to log on. Given the industry, this should have been seamless.

Better planned than I expected. Compared to other platforms, I believe the experience was very stable.
What did you like best about the event?
The event spaces were well-designed. I can compare very much to other standard virtual event spaces.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Nothing is coming to mind right now. I believe that the timing can be made to be less confusing.

It was a lot of content and good learning.
What did you like best about the event?
It was very diverse and included a lot of details. Helped with the learning. Enjoyed the diversity of presenters and the concepts they brought to the event.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
It was well orchestrated. Would be best if it was promoted in more venues. Many of my colleagues did not know if the event.
