Adam Jansen currently works as the Principal Innovation Manager for Volvo Group’s US Innovation Lab. He is based at the Silicon Valley office, Hub335, where he works with startups to co-develop and launch new services that serve Volvo Group’s customers and the greater commercial vehicle ecosystem. Before Volvo, Adam launched and ran Plug and Play Tech Center’s mobility-focused accelerator, VC, and corporate innovation platform in Detroit. Prior to that, he helped Adient manage its relationship with Tesla while also developing new vehicle interior products for tech giants that were entering the automotive industry at that time. Adam’s educational background includes a master’s degree in sustainability from Harvard University, an MBA from University of Southern California, and a BBA from UW-Green Bay. In his spare time, Adam serves on the advisory board for UWGB Cofrin School of Business and he enjoys flying airplanes as a private pilot.
