Aron J. Ain currently serves as executive chair of the UKG Board of Directors and also as an Operating Partner at Hellman & Friedman. Prior to becoming executive chair in 2022, Aron served as longtime CEO of UKG. During his time as CEO, Glassdoor named Aron to its list of Top 100 CEOs in the U.S. on multiple occasions. Aron also authored the award-winning book, “WorkInspired: How to Build an Organization Where Everyone Loves to Work.” In the book, Aron challenges leaders to ‘walk the talk’ and put people first, whether they oversee a team of five or an organization of 500,000. Aron joined UKG in 1979 and held a role in nearly every functional department until becoming CEO in 2005. In 2020, Aron helped lead the merger between Kronos Incorporated and Ultimate Software to become UKG. In 2021, UKG became the first merged entity to land on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list, debuting at #6.
