Bio

Dr. Harutyunyan is currently Senior Chief Scientist at Honda Research Institute USA Inc. located in San Jose, CA. His responsibilities include leading a research and developing a strategies for quantum information science (hardware, e.g. qubits and magnetometers) as well as for high energy density and ecofriendly batteries by designing and synthesizing new materials. He is also responsible for scaling up of battery technologies aiming at their production. He is APS Fellow since 2014 and AAAS Fellow since 2018.
