I’m a veteran journalist and writer. I cover tech and Silicon Valley for the San Francisco Examiner. Previously, I wrote about crypto and fintech for Protocol and was named one of the top 10 crypto journalists of 2022 by Muck Rack. I wrote about social issues, courts and crime, immigration, Silicon Valley and technology for the San Francisco Chronicle where I was a reporter for 14 years. I also covered major tech stories for Dow Jones MarketWatch. My professional journey included stints at Insider, the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and the fintech startups, NerdWallet and BlueVine.
