At eBay, I lead the global Buyer Experience product organization, which builds delightful experiences for millions of customers in every market eBay serves. I also lead eBay for Charity, which has raised over $1 billion in total funds for charities all over the world. My teams define the direction, design, and build of eBay's Buyer Experience including all homepages, item & product pages, browse pages, global header & app navigation, content, My eBay, eBay Deals platform, the eBay vault, price guidance, collections, Authenticity Guaranteed, merchandising tools, vertical shopping experiences, computer vision shopping experiences, seller managed services, guest shopping experiences, registration and identity experiences, couponing and loyalty programs, onsite notifications, Watch List and ''Saving,'' searches, sellers, and brands. I also set the vision of eBay’s personalized shopping algorithms and products, and the company’s mobile strategy, while providing creative direction of visual design, marketing content, ux, and curation. My team also includes regional development, a group that makes the global products more local, in North America, France, Italy, Spain, UK, Germany, and Australia. We are also key partners to our Ads, Payments, and Seller orgs. Prior to eBay I was one of Fast Company’s ‘100 Most Creative People in Business’ and was coined the ‘King of Quirk’ by Forbes Magazine and the ‘Eames of E-Commerce’ by Wired. I founded Fab.com, once valued over $1B, Bezar, and Queerty, was Chief Design Officer at Backcountry.com, and have won 3 Webbys. I sit on the advisory board of several start-ups and sometimes you can find me singing in a rock band. -
