Besides his reputation as a connoisseur of brainless comedies and Huey Lewis music, Brian Critchfield is a global speaker, author, professor, and consultant on the topics of word of mouth marketing, marketing strategy, and digital marketing. He launched the first social media agency in the Northwest and was one of the early contributors to this new discipline. Over the last 25 years, Brian has launched well over 100 products and developed go-to-market strategies for companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 firms. His clients include such household names as Toyota, HP, Weyerhaeuser, Pfizer, and Microsoft. He is also a serial entrepreneur and has launched 9 of his own successful companies. Brian has delivered seminars from Johannesburg, South Africa to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and his articles have appeared in publications as far reaching as Forbes India. He is also currently writing a book detailing his formula called “Marketing From the Navel: Word of Mouth From the Inside Out.” Brian is currently a faculty member at several local universities where he teaches graduate marketing and strategy. He also develops marketing curriculum, including the Digital Marketing certificate for University of Phoenix and custom textbook chapters for Grand Canyon University. Brian is also a certified facilitator for FranklinCovey where he teaches courses on leadership and effectiveness. Brian holds a BBA degree in Marketing from Boise State University and a Global MBA through the prestigious Thunderbird School of Global Management. Brian is married with 5 children, who may one day drive him to drink.
