David is an established and results-oriented professional with 25+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in all phases of Retail, Civic, Corporate, Education and Healthcare projects, as both an Owner and Consultant. He is currently the Director of Store Standards at the Walgreen Co., and responsible for overseeing the creation and maintenance of the company’s design and technical standards for all retail and healthcare facilities. He is a passionate and collaborative leader, possessing a rigorous attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, and proven success balancing service, quality and profitability. In addition to his responsibilities at Walgreens, David is also currently serving on the SPECS Advisory Board and is a member of the Underwriters Laboratories Standards Technical Panel focused on shaping a new Retail Fixture and Merchandising Display Safety & Performance Standard.
