Hi everyone! I am queer and proud psychiatrist. A Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Southern California, I received my undergraduate degrees in neuroscience, biology, and psychology. I then received my medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, becoming a Gold Humanism Honor Scholar. For the past seven years, my personal identification, education, clinical research, and civic commitment have cultivated into a passion to help minority populations in integrative ways. I am especially dedicated to LGBTQ+ diversity, equity, and culturally competent healthcare. In 2015, I founded the national nonprofit, 501(c)(3) LGBTQ+ health equity organization OutCare Health, which provides access to LGBTQ+ information, resources, mentorship, education, training, research, and providers for millions across the country. My clinical and philanthropic work has led to several national accolades, presentations, and publications as well as diversity awards from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, Tylenol Future Care Foundation, Gamma Mu Foundation, AGLP, WPATH, and NOGLSTP. My ultimate goal is to transform my might into a powerful unicorn of social and public health change for LGBTQ+ people.
