Elias Chabtini, Founder and CEO of Medica Group; is an entrepreneur and visionary businessman. Be it a diversified serial investor; Elias today is stakeholder in many sectors ranging from, medical, fashion, luxury retail and F&B. He started his journey in year 1997 in the F&B business; targeting the Sushi industry where he launched the 1st Sushi outlet with a creative concept built from scratch. Not only he built a Shushi empire from Le Sushi Bar to Yabani in Beirut; but he also invented over a dozen of conceptualized Maki rolls and dishes which became internationally used and applied around the globe. As a professional in the F&B business; Elias moved to assembling Medica throughout from the revenues done from Sushi. Chabtini sold his restaurant in year 2000 6 times the investments he made in 20 months and injected that money in Medica Group between 1999 to 2003. Elias today is an experienced individual in the Medico – Aesthetic Industry within the Middle East Region; and with leading the business he actively guided the company towards becoming an influential organization in 18 markets across MENA and South East Asia. Back then in 1999; $500,000 was invested in Medica and today the company is worth over $100 million dollar. By end of 2022, Medica is looking at doubling the revenue by strengthening its footprint in the GCC and expanding in Africa, North Africa and Asia; not to mention looking at acquisitions and mergers with other companies in the Gulf Region. Chabtini is additionally renowned for his international leadership and expertise in non-invasive cosmetic surgery; and his 20 years of experience and consumer center practices have placed him as one of the 100 inspiring Leaders in the Middle East “Arabian Business”. He also aims at providing training and educational programs to the next generation entrepreneurs. As a member of the YPO (Young President Organization), the Premier Leadership Organization of Chief Executives in the world and be it an active board member of multiple investment funds, he seeks to continue the entrepreneurial mindset to different business ventures.
