[I apologise in advance if I can be difficult to get hold of] I am currently the interim Commercial Director for DATA-CAN - the UK Health Data Research Hub for Cancer, hosted at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT). My background is in health and social care and I have been a founder with a successful exit (Health iQ sold to CorEvitas, LLC in 2019). I am now an advisor and consultant to multiple start-ups and scale-ups and also hold a range of academic, committee and mentor positions. These include mentor at the NHS Innovation Accelerator, mentor at Edison with Wayra and GE, Visiting Lecturer at UCL Global Business School for Health, Editorial Board Member of The International Journal of Digital Health, an advisor to Silver Buck, Cognitant and ORCHA, assessor at Innovate UK, and Commercial Consultant to Great Ormond Street Hospital. I am also a co-founder at Vita and Founding NED at Opto Health. I was co-Chair of the HIMSS Innovation Committee for 2022. From 2018 to 2022, I was the internal subject matter expert on global digital health for the UK Department for International Trade (DIT), now the DBT, with a worldwide remit advising commercial teams in UK Embassies across 96 countries.
