Responsible for leading multiple workstreams and elevating sustainability and ESG globally and cross-functionally at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) – Oracle’s fast-growing cloud platform. Technical expertise in leading sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI, CDP, EcoVadis, GRESB, MSCI, SASB, SBTs, Sustainalytics, TCFD, UN SDGs), renewable energy (including utility-scale virtual power purchase agreements and EACs/RECs) & electricity procurement (including financial modeling and hedging), and climate change and decarbonization strategies. My 15+ years of sustainability and energy experience spans the private sector, consulting and NGOs. I recently joined OCI to lead Energy and Sustainability for data center services. Previously I spent nearly a decade developing and leading the Sustainability Program Office at Equinix, the world's leading digital infrastructure company, where I was responsible for engaging all business units and numerous partners, including investors, analysts, NGOs, and worldwide customers who shared Equinix’s commitment towards sustainability and key priorities such as climate change and the transition to net-zero business models. My work at Equinix elevated sustainability to the executive and board levels and enabled the company to set a Science-based Target, 2030 Global Climate Neutral Commitment and 100% Renewable Energy Goal. During my tenure at Equinix, the company became a globally recognized sustainability leader and achieved 90% of its renewable goal worldwide – effectively decoupling carbon emissions from the rapid growth of digital infrastructure. Equinix won numerous accolades for its sustainable ESG practices and transparent measurement & reporting. I have a master’s degree in Decision Analysis from the Johns Hopkins University and an undergraduate degree in Chemistry.
