Joaquin is focused on building the next generation of enterprise software, with three main objectives: happier employees, happier consumers and happier planet. Currently he leads Nextail, where he empowers some of the largest brands and retailers to sell more with less stock through hyper-local demand forecasting and agile process automation. Nextail solutions combine data processing and data science technologies in a cloud-based architecture to automate decision-making. With them, retailers empower teams, maximize sales and enable sustainable consumption models. Nextail has been named 2020 World Economic Forum Pioneer for contributions towards fashion retail sustainability. Fashion brands end up with an average of 20% unsold stock, each season. Nextail can bring it down to 10%. Prior to founding Nextail, Joaquin was Head of European Logistics for Zara-Inditex.
